A The word Significant means; great or important to be worthy of attention We think this is an excellent word to describe Gods Church primarily because Christs Church is the most important/significant organisation in the world today, it is of greatest importance to Jesus as He promised to build His Church alone and make that great. Further to this the believer has a great/significant call (Philippians 3:14 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] ) to be fulfilled in and through a local Church which is to be a city on a hill and worthy of attention as it proclaims the Good news of the Gospel. God’s word (The Bible) is a most significant book and the eternal soul of every individual is significant. (Romans 15:4 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] ) Every day that passes by brings us closer to the coming of Christ for His Church making this time in history most significant. The title Significance Church doesn’t mean we are better than any other Church is just means we recognise how important the Church and its people are to our Lord.
