23.01.2022 We were so happy to get together after a year of no rehearsals due to Covid19. We even had a sneaky sing together outside - we still got it!

19.01.2022 After a long battle with cancer, choir member Lyn passed away peacefully in hospital last night, while listening to the music she loved and being surrounded by her family. We are all so grateful for how long she was able to sing with us and laugh with us. She will be dearly missed by the choir and we send our love and thoughts to her family. Rest in Peace, Lyn

We are looking forward to having a fun evening! As preparations for the night ensue, please make sure that you book your tickets so we can allocate your seating and ensure your place on a table - you can contact any member to get the details for a bank transfer or pay a member of the choir cash before the night to secur...e your seat! 16.01.2022 This was our choir at 7pm for our first session of the year last night! The storms kept some away but we sung up our own little storm inside! We'll be rehearsing every Wednesday night until mid-December, so please come and visit at 7pm any Wednesday you'd like until then!... We'd love to sing with you

08.01.2022 Congratulations to all of the choirs who participated today in the Wyndham Festival of Choirs 2019!!! We learned and performed three songs as a mass choir and each choir got to perform their own little flair of music for everybody else~ and we got to see our old friend Bob who has joined the Laverton Community Choir (in blue)! Thank you to Bridge Community Choir for hosting and to our conductor and vocal arranger for the event: James Rigby! It was a wonderful event and we can...'t wait to attend again next year! Official photos of the event to be released soon.

08.01.2022 REHEARSAL CANCELLED 7th APRIL Unfortunately our choir director has a sore throat and will be unable to run rehearsal this evening. Rehearsals will resume next week, on Wednesday 14th April at Arndell Park Community Centre! If you are interested in attending a free trial session to see if you'd like to join, we start singing at 7:15pm and would love to meet you! 08.01.2022 Hello!!! Just a little FYI for tonight's rehearsal: it's been cancelled as Victoria is too sick today. If you're planning on coming to check us out and sing along, please don't come tonight as nobody will be there!... All will be back to normal next Wednesday at Arndell Park Community Centre as we start learning Christmas carols in preparation for December performances! See you next week!

06.01.2022 As our choir is currently small in size, it is still possible for rehearsals to continue for those who are not at risk and would like to continue singing. If you are not comfortable coming to rehearsals, have travelled overseas recently, have been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19, or are considered at risk, or you live with someone at risk, you should not come to rehearsals. Based on what the Australian Government knows about coronaviruses, t...hose most at risk of serious infection are: - people with compromised (weakened) immune systems - elderly people - people with chronic medical conditions - people in group residential settings All choir performances have been postponed due to restrictions in public health & safety. We will continue to wash our hands and sit further apart from each other.
