Please Note that those swimmers in Session 2 are to remain OUTSIDE and are NOT permitted on the pool deck until directed to enter at the completion of Session 1. Swimmers in Session 1 that are not participating in Session 2 are to vacate the pool deck at the completion of their race and prior to these swimmers entering.

17.01.2022 Friday Night Club races will be suspended for the next two weeks prior to the school holiday break. During this time, we will continue to review the situation and hopefully be better informed as to how to progress, so an update can be offered prior to resumption of Club races from Friday 1 May 2020.

17.01.2022 Important message to those entered in this Friday night racing. If you are not swimming in an event that you have nominated for please contact the race secretary no later than 2PM Friday 20/11/2020. This will allow time to re-configure the program, as we are time limited this week to fit in all events. Please note new start times for this week only.... Session 1 commencing at 5:40PM Session 2 commencing at 6:50PM Please Note: Timekeepers for both sessions are required to arrive 10min prior to start time. Timekeepers/Lap Counters for 1500mm will be required first @ 5:30pm with remaining timekeepers for session 1 required at the completion of the 1500mm event approximately 5:45pm. Session 2 timekeepers will need to be ready to go by 6:35pm. All events are live on Meet Mobile right now with times as guides only. You can also check meet mobile to ensure the events you have nominated are correct. if you notice any discrepancies please notify us ASAP. Thanks, Kayla Kayla B

16.01.2022 Today, we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL the upcoming NSW Junior State Age Championships. With over 2500 competitors and spectators, it would have... been both impossible and irresponsible to try and go ahead with this event in the current circumstances. We are currently reviewing the 2020 Sydney Open & UniSport Nationals, Swim League competition and Short Course sessions and will keep clubs and members informed via our dedicated COVID-19 website page, social media and our other communication channels. Thank you once more for your understanding as we navigate this unfamiliar time, together!

09.01.2022 SOPAC Swim Club would like to advise that the SOPAC Swim Club Long Course Qualifying meet that was to be held on 21st March 2020 has now been cancelled. Today, ...Swimming NSW announced due to the rapidly changing environment, they have updated advice for the community. This advice is that from 16th March 2020 Swimming NSW advises against hosting any swimming competition in NSW for a period of 30 days. As a result of this advice SOPAC Swim Club have made a decision to cancel our event. All entrants into the SOPAC Swim Club Long Course Qualifying meet will receive full refunds from the club. Thank you for your understanding whilst we deal with these extraordinary circumstances. SOPAC Swim Club Committee

02.01.2022 Cancellation - 2020 MSW Long Course Sprint Meet. On advice from Swimming NSW the Area (MSW) has made the decision to cancel the 2020 MSW Long Course Sprint Mee...t on 21/03/2020 to be held at Blacktown Aquatic Centre. This decision was not made lightly. We had to factor in the health and well-being of the swimming community. A request has been issued to Swimming NSW to have refunds re-issued to the nominated credit/debit card. Please allow at least 10 business days for this transaction to appear in your account. MSW will also not be hosting the Winter Sprint Series in May 2020. Our next scheduled event will be the 2020 MSW Short Course Championships to be held at SOPAC on 13/14 June 2020. The 2020 Annual Presentation will still be on Saturday 16/05/2020 at St Johns Park Bowling Club as the number of attendees will be below the suggested limit. Thank you again for your ongoing support in putting the health and safety of our swimmers first.

Special mention and congratulations t...o Cameron who came away with a silver medal in the 50 Breast and a bronze medal in the 100 Breast! Best of luck to our team for Day Two of the Championships!
