24.01.2022 Thankyou to all of our wonderful supporters young and old who turned up today on RARE DISEASE DAY to GO THE TAN. It was only three hours this year but we have managed to raise $12,426 to date!! What a result! Thank you to all of the people who still come along after 11 years, you are all getting VIP t-shirts next year!! 24.01.2022 Just wanted to acknowledge the fundraising efforts of both the Stipkovich and Coffey families in Melbourne, each of whom have raised around $1000 so far on Everyday Hero for Go The Tan!! 16.01.2022 Ok we are on again! Get your gear on and get down to the 12th annual GO THE TAN - Saturday 20th February, 9am - 1pm. No official timing or online registrations, just the basics. Turn up, make a $25 donation (cash, VISA or Mastercard) and complete one lap of the 3.8km Tan track. All donations support FARA's mission to fund research into a treatment and cure for Friedreich Ataxia. 14.01.2022 GO THE TAN is on again. But this time it is being held on SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY BETWEEN 9AM AND 12 MIDDAY. Due to us not having a sponsor this year, we have decided to go back to basics. That means no official timing and no event management. All we are asking is that you come down on Saturday morning, make a $25 donation and do your lap of the Tan. 07.01.2022 Exciting news! Olympic Champion and holder of the fastest TAN Time ever (10.08), CRAIG MOTTRAM, is set to take on the Tan track again to officially set the record straight! The celebrity challenge will take place at 12.45pm tomorrow.

01.01.2022 Just a reminder that GO THE TAN will be happening this Saturday morning, 9am - 1pm, to support Friedreich Ataxia research. Donations of $25 can be made by cash, cheque, VISA or MasterCard. Just turn up anytime between 9am and 1pm at the Pillars of Wisdom (near the corner of Alexandra Ave and Olympic Boulevard, opposite Rod Laver Arena), make a donation and away you go!

This year there will be no electronic times or online registrations. We are going back to basics! Simply turn up for for a walk or jog and donate your $25 entry to One in a Million - supporting FARA (Friedreich Ataxia Research Association) and The Unicorn Foundation.
