25.01.2022 Major milestone alert! SAGE recently completed commissioning of the main system control panels at the Cairns Regional Council Materials Recovery Facility (#MRF) plant, for our client RDT Engineering. The MRF allows the council to provide a more stable and #sustainable #recycling program for their local area. Diverting waste from landfill by sorting collected kerbside material such as plastic, paper, cardboard, aluminium and glass, means it can be used again in the productiv...e economy. SAGE applied a modern approach to the Human Machine Interface (#HMI), allowing data to be collected and monitored by the council, ensuring ease of plant performance assessment by the MRF operator. 25.01.2022 We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this very exciting project right here in our own back yard, to deliver the control systems for the SRWRA MRF facility for our customer RDT Engineering and Re.Group. This follows the successful completion of the #MRF control systems project SAGE delivered for RDT Engineering for the Cairns Regional Council earlier this year and we’re very proud to be able to continue contributing to the increased capability to our local recycling industry and the productive economy. #waronwaste #recycling

15.01.2022 One of our NSW Service Technicians, Tim Phillips, took this shot while performing some annual Variable Speed Drive (VSD) preventative maintenance work at an advanced water treatment plant last week! VSD maintenance, or even a health check, reduces risk for businesses whose operation depends on the full time running of #VSDs in peak seasons. In particular, water pump station VSDs are at risk of failure if they are not kept maintained, causing avoidable stress and financial ramifications.
