23.01.2022 I was chatting to the lovely Bec @mill&goat this morning about being small business owners during this Covid-19 period. Like so many businesses (big & small) we have all been hit by the lock down & dramatic downturn in business. Do you know what was nice though? We can now see some light! With businesses starting to re-open, travel restrictions easing and socialising starting to reemerge, there is a glimmer of hope that our businesses will start to pick up. 01.01.2022 Last night I finished week 6 of a webinar course which was to keep myself up-to-date across all things related to "websites"! In this industry (like so many industries) changes occur often and we need to keep ahead of the game (not just in the game). Importantly however every session included discussion ad learning about the importance of keywords and SEO (search engine optimisation). And before you ask, no the webinar course was not just designed to talk about SEO, it was ab...out building great websites. However here's how it rolled: Week 1 - first topic keyword research Week 2 - goals for keyword research Week 3 - SEO (yep that comes from keyword research) Week 4 - SEO content masterclass Week 5 - using SEO & quality content Week 6 - leveraging SEO Week 7 - is going to be a lovey big wrap up!! So my message is that keywords and SEO are a huge part of building functional and awesome websites, that people can actually find when looking for their chosen topic.
