25.01.2022 Good morning Next week will see the clinic almost back to normal working hours. Mel will return after the July school holidays. Thanks Liz

24.01.2022 How to make a mask stay in place all day! Good for children, for women with small faces, for men and women working out, or for anyone that wants a better seal w...ith a regular surgical mask. (It's become clear that a disclaimer is needed: You should definitely be washing your hands before you pick up and put on any mask. Also, I washed my hands before making this video and I recommend regular hand washing, even when we're not experiencing a pandemic.) See more

23.01.2022 I did see boxes of 50 disposable masks at Coles today I don’t know how good they are but they say medical masks Liz

22.01.2022 We have been given the directive on Friday 24th July that NSW has moved to Amber risk level. This means that you will see all practitioners and reception staff wearing masks in the clinic now. We are unable to keep 1.5 metres distance from you whilst you receive your treatment. The clinic has a COVID Safe plan and this plan will now require all patients to please wear a mask into the clinic and during your treatment. ... We understand that masks are uncomfortable and take time to adjust to wearing them. But we ask you to please help us keep everyone in our clinic safe by wearing one. We are unable to provide masks for you at this time, however, if we can secure a supply of disposable masks then we may be able to in the future. Please look into organising your own masks for the clinic. There are many disposable and washable masks available locally at this time. Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult and ever changing time Goulburn Osteopathy

11.01.2022 Are many people in your area wearing face masks? The Australian Medical Association (AMA) says the NSW Government's face mask recommendation does not go far e...nough. Today they urged all NSW residents to wear masks in public and indoors. "The Government has been asking the community to do the right thing and while many people have responded, infections persist, and NSW is struggling to return to the previous environment where it had no community transmission," said AMA NSW President, Dr Danielle McMullen. The AMA also say they will continue to lobby the NSW Government to tighten existing restrictions on indoor gatherings. "We know this sounds like a lot to ask of the community, but the alternative to this is could very well be Victorian-style stage four lockdowns, and we do not want to see those kinds of conditions imposed in NSW," AMA Federal President, Dr Omar Khorshid said. The NSW Government currently recommends mask use where social distancing is difficult, as well as for public-facing employees, religious worshippers and those who live near COVID-19 clusters. The elderly and those at high health risk should also wear masks.

11.01.2022 Good afternoon We are opening Goulburn Osteopathy gradually and will assess the situation should there be further developments in our region regarding the virus. Frances is working Thursday and Liz Monday and Wednesday next week Emma will be in the office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday9-5 pm and Friday morning to take your calls. We will be taking your temperature before your treatment and ask if you could please arrive a little early to settle before your temperature is t...aken. We are following the NSW health recommendations and if your temperature is 37.4 or above we will not be able to treat you as you may have a fever. Frances and Liz will both be wearing masks and we ask you to please contact us so we can cancel your appointment if you have cold or flu symptoms or a sore throat. Everyone is important to us and we ask you to be mindful that many of our patients are within the high risk category and infection control is important to protect our most vulnerable in the community We thank you for your understanding and patience Liz See more

05.01.2022 There were 4 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goulburn Mulwaree as of 25th March. This number could rise steeply unless we improve social distancing measures. It ...is ironic that shortages of items in supermarkets such as toilet paper are causing a lot of people to shop more frequently. if it’s not there one day, they go back the next and the next in the hope of new supplies. This must stop. We need to discipline ourselves to shop no more than once a week. If an item is not there, we need to adapt and do without. Wet face washers can be used instead of toilet paper. Keep a bucket of nappy-san to put them in and dry yourself with a hairdryer if necessary. We will be posting more advice in the coming days. In the meantime, the clinic remains open for business. Don’t hesitate to phone for an appointment. The clinic has put measures in place to keep people safe. Patients can be seen in person or have a phone consultation in some cases, but we do ask everyone to phone first.

03.01.2022 We have confirmed a total of 51 cases of COVID-19 the District (as at 12:00pm 1 April, 2020), following 1925 tests. The announcement follows recent tests which ...were verified in the last 24 hours. None of these confirmed cases have required hospitalisation and are self-isolating accordingly. Note - variations may occur in (day to day) results due to further investigations and qualifications of data. See more
