We will take the next few weeks to consider the best way for G&Co to meet customer demands and expectations while implementing the latest government restrictions and new venue policies and procedures. We need to be realistic in terms of what post COVID-19 operations will look like for us and acknowledge the capacity restrictions that have been imposed on our small business. 24.01.2022 As you are no doubt aware cafes are one of the front-line businesses to be closed down by the Govt nationally from mid-day today. We will be taking the coming days to reassess and determine the feasibility of opening on a take-away basis, so that we can continue to keep you - our customers - happy by producing a small range of the treats you have come to love. 11.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who visited us on Saturday! It was our first trading day since March 22nd and it was great to be back, albeit working in a different way. Your support is greatly appreciated, merci beaucoup.... Given the demand and encouragement we received G&Co will open every Saturday during the month of May from 8am-12midday. If you are able to text your orders in advance please do so by Friday afternoon. We look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon.

09.01.2022 Has been challenging these last 4weeks but the paving of the section of Stirling Terrace from in front of our shop up to Spencer Street is now almost done. Not sure of complete finish date but we are open and trading Wed-Sat this week. Should have our terrace in tomorrow..

09.01.2022 Winter trading details: Gourmandise & Co will now open Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 7:30am-2.00pm, and Saturday for market-style menu 8am-12midday. We hope to welcome you in our delightfully cosy space for great coffee and great culinary delights sometime very soon.

07.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS We are taking additional sanitary measures to ensure your safety and are maintaining our regular high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. We have reduced the number of seats available at our communal table to respect the recommended social distancing between patrons.... We would appreciate that all clients who choose to visit us also take all necessary recommended precautions and postpone their visit if they have any immediate health concerns. IN TERMS OF OUR OPERATIONS, PLEASE NOTE: We are reviewing the situation daily. All staff are undertaking the COVID-19 Staff Questionnaire daily before coming in to work. The level of our production and number of options available has been reduced. Favourites and best sellers of course continue to feature. 06.01.2022 Gourmandise & Co is now open Thursday & Friday 7.30am-2pm (kitchen closing at 1pm for specials) and Saturday's 8am-12midday offering our market menu. The communal table and original floorboards have been reconditioned, shop thoroughly cleaned, shop front and deck deck repainted and we are ready to ease back into offering great coffee and delicious treats. If you have not yet visited us since lockdown began late March we look forward to welcoming you sometime very soon.

05.01.2022 The upgrade on Stirling terrace has started today and it is estimated works will take approx 2 weeks to complete. G&Co will close Wed 25 Nov & Dec 2, trading THURS-SAT inclusive. We will revert to WED-SAT trading on Wed Dec 9th.

04.01.2022 UPDATE We trust that everyone is keeping well and safe during these difficult & challenging times. The last few weeks we have had many customer enquiries as to when we are likely to re-open. We like most remain unsure as to when it will be completely safe to do so.... We have of course been discussing which operating model could work best for us and have decided to trial advance ordering: Gourmandise & Co will open for take-away trade Saturday May 2nd 8am -12pm offering the usual range of pastries, bread & quiche. Orders must be placed in advance to assist with production levels. Please text your orders to 0409816489 by Monday APRIL 27th. Biobean Coffee Beans (retail packs) will be available for purchase, but for this first trading session t/a coffee will not be offered. Xavier & Janette

01.01.2022 Restrictions are to be eased from this Saturday June 6th. With the 2 sq mtr rule in place we can safely welcome diners in-store. Please note that on Saturday's we will be offering our MARKET MENU from 8am-12midday. If you can text your orders in advance before Friday night you wou't miss out.... We will open Thursday and Friday commencing next week 7.30am-2pm. Our plan if all goes well is to introduce an additional day in July but we ask for your patience as we navigate the post COVID-19 trading and we will do out best to keep you updated with any changes to trading days & times.
