24.01.2022 Our phone lines are still out. For whatever reason we are unable to have a diversion in place. We have a mobile number set up in case we are still down at 5pm. 0452553941. Moving forward, this will be our new number.

23.01.2022 On September 1st, we are bringing in a delivery charge of $3 for all deliveries, whether you live right on the edge of our boundary or just around the corner. We have kept the service free for as long as possible, but these days one cannot expect to get something for nothing. We are bringing ourselves into line with every other shop that charges a delivery fee, which is everyone else. One important point is that when we do put the fee in place that our decision is respected. ...Any arguing or excessive complaining and we will not accept the order. We cannot compete anymore with Uber Eats, Deliveroo and the like. We have to charge to keep the service viable. GPP

22.01.2022 It’s business as usual for us with regards to the Coronavirus issue. We plan to stay open until (a) We are told to take a break, or (b) It becomes temporarily not profitable. We are purposely operating with minimum staff as well, to be safe and are taking extra steps with hygiene between every order prepared.... Things are going to be a bit slower, so we ask for everyone’s patience and understanding. Let’s all keep our tempers in check during these stressful times, yes?

22.01.2022 We have a position vacant for a kitchen hand. Were looking at Friday nights and maybe another night during the week. Must be local (Gladesville, Henley, Boronia Park, Hunters Hill etc) Ideal job for a student looking for some experience in hospitality, or just some extra cash. So were looking for a local student who is after a first job or wanting some retail or hospitality experience. Any age from 15-16 up would be acceptable.... 22.01.2022 We are now limited to having two (2) individual customers inside the shop at a time as its such a small area. Parents with children should be okay, but visits need to be kept brief. We do have a menu outside the shop and on our website, so it would be easier to have decided what you want to order before entering. Again, please pay attention to the waiting times we give over the phone or at the counter. If we say half an hour, please dont arrive in ten minutes and start paci...ng around impatiently. We will ask people to move on if we must, but lets try and avoid that. The pizzas will stay hot on top of the oven. Theres no rush! GPP

21.01.2022 We are open on Public Holiday Monday (Labour Day). If its reasonably busy well stay open until 9pm, but dont call too late just in case its quiet and we close early. Also theres a $2 public holiday surcharge for deliveries on top of the normal charge, so be aware of that as well. GPP

21.01.2022 It looks like our listing is still live on that illegal site more than 48 hours after they confirmed we had been removed. Naughty! Naughty! See attached photos... With that in mind, we want to remind everybody that the ONLY way to place an order with us is by calling us directly or walking through our door. Orders placed and paid for through Doordash or any other false agency will not be fulfilled.

19.01.2022 Following our beloved mint being ripped out of the garden bed, we aimed a camera at the remaining plant hoping to catch the thief. While this one didn't take the whole plant, she certainly ripped a good amount out of it.

18.01.2022 We get quite a few cancelled orders when we inform people that our delivery times are around an hour. It hurts us when we lose business, especially when we see the second-rate service of our competitors. I wont mention who the chap in the photos works for, (weve blacked out his face) but you could probably guess. Not only did he open the pizza box and take a look inside, but he sat down and took a phone call for five minutes before leaving in a car. The pizza box was still open the entire time. We have only one driver and we might be a little slow on busy nights, but we would NEVER treat our customers like this!

17.01.2022 We will be raising our prices very soon, but not by much - $1 or maybe $1.50 depending on the type of pizza. We won’t be charging a credit card surcharge and our delivery fee will remain at $3. Remember, we’ve kept our prices frozen for three years, so don’t be too tough on us!!

17.01.2022 Our State of Origin deal is on again tonight. Order any 2 large traditional or gourmet pizzas to pick up and receive a free garlic bread and bottle of soft drink! Remember its pick up only. Limited to 2 per customer. Could be a busy one tonight so there might be longer than usual waiting times.

16.01.2022 We have adjusted our delivery area as of April 2019. Please refer to map below. Unfortunately we are no longer able to deliver past Tennyson and into Putney. We have drawn another boundary through Higginbotham Road as well. Bottom line is we cant deliver into Ryde or Putney any more, mainly due to traffic/lost time.

15.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone that we have been experiencing HUGE amounts of orders on Fridays and Saturdays, all within a short period of time. With everything made fresh and everything happening at once, it means that waiting times blow out and become difficult to predict. This should be the last big one until the restrictions are really lifted on Monday, so please be patient with us and allow a small margin of error with our time estimates. As a rough guide, pick up times could nudge 50 mins to an hour, whilst deliveries creep up to around 90 mins.

15.01.2022 We will be open throughout the Easter period. Not taking any time off! We will be running with only a 2 or 3 person crew, so if it turns out to be busy we will be a bit slow. Remember, we tend to close early if its quiet, so try not to order too late. Thanks to everyone for their patience and support so far.

14.01.2022 Opening today under a new name are BEANS cafe at Gladesville Village Shopping Centre. Its really important to support local small business, so if youre nearby please support Kim and the girls. They do make great coffee!

13.01.2022 Wed like to say thanks to all the patient customers over Friday and Saturday night. Pick-up and delivery times were way over what we would normally prefer, but we were stretched beyond capacity. This may become a common occurrence, especially between 7 and 8 oclock on Fridays.

They have replicated our business details and published our menu on their website. What a fiasco! Do not order anything through these clowns because the next one of their drivers that turns up at our shop is going to be thrown onto the street. Where is Fair Trading? 09.01.2022 There will be some changes to our delivery service coming soon. Weve kept our local service free for a long, long time. Its no longer viable for us to keep it that way, so a small charge will be added. We will bring it in around October.

07.01.2022 Just to let everyone know, we will remain open for both pickup orders and home delivery, but with a few slight changes... We will now open 7 nights a week. We will not raise our prices, BUT we can no longer give away any freebies like garlic bread or drinks! ... There may be some issues with supplies. Some pizzas may have to be taken off the menu temporarily until stock/ingredients are available. We will need to limit the number of customers waiting inside the shop, as its a small area. We will put up appropriate signage for that. We may be a bit low on stock Monday and Tuesday, but well see how we go. Finally we would like to thank everyone who has supported us during this unprecedented event. The last two nights in particular have been overwhelming and humbling with the amount of orders we have received. Thank you. GPP

07.01.2022 We are open tonight from 5pm. Looks like we are very light on with staff, so home deliveries are going to be limited. Might be able to squeeze out some early but at some point we are going to have to revert to pick up only.

07.01.2022 Delivery is up and running again. The food delivery market is changing rapidly and we need to adjust our service in order to keep waiting times down. We now only deliver to addresses with a postcode of 2110 or 2111. Even then, we wont deliver to large unit high rises on Victoria Road that have no vehicle access for our driver. Too many times weve been caught out and orders following have been late. On any given night, we only have one driver covering the entire map! We always do our best to give accurate delivery times when the orders are placed.

05.01.2022 Effective immediately there will be NO further deliveries into any of the public housing complexes. Myers Ave, Joubert Street, Higginbotham Road and Blandville Court on Victoria Road - with all apologies to the good people living there, its too dangerous! Our driver was almost ambushed tonight at Myers Ave, but fortunately made it out ok. Its now in the hands of the police. This follows another incident at Joubert Street a few weeks back. Were done!!!

05.01.2022 As already mentioned, our prices are about to go up a little bit. We have already updated the menu both here and on our website, but the new prices won't come into effect until 1st March.

04.01.2022 A great new shop has just opened its doors around the corner from us on Victoria Road. Frankie’s Wheels specialises in skateboards and scooters and Frankie the owner is a top bloke. If you’re looking for Christmas gifts along these lines, this would be a great place to start. Let’s all support our local businesses!!!

01.01.2022 Someone has ripped our entire mint plant roots and all out of the garden bed provided by council as part of the Love Gladesville promotion. Seriously? Are we that hard up?
