23.01.2022 A massively big thanks to Ben, Adam (both pictured) and Pete from Morningside Electrical for sourcing and installing Gove FM's brand new and considerably impressive generator to ensure we can once again be the communities effective always on-air emergency broadcaster. We would also especially like to thank the Community Broadcasting Foundation for their generous financial contribution and also the Department of Social Services for their generous financial contribution. Thanks to funding from these tip top services we were able cover over half the costs associated with the purchase and install. Cheers one and all.

21.01.2022 This is epic. Nandi a 10year old insanely good drummer challenged Dave Grohl to a drum off and Dave declares her a winner after the ensuing battle. Dave has now recorded a song for her and I reckon it’s the best Foo Fighters song ever :) check it out.

Big thanks to the Roaming Flames legends for the tastiest treats. Top work to all involved, including the Nhulunbuy Youth Council and the Office of Youth Affairs. And to those who hit the ramps, you were awesome.
07.01.2022 Thanks to the tip top live musos who played at the Gove Boat Club over the Regatta weekend. You clever and creative human beings make going out entertaining. Big thanks to the Zal’s (pictured) Barbara Zalunardo Steven Zalunardo who played Friday and Sunday. Grant Minchin played Saturday and delivered a sensational set, and thanks also to handsome Harry Walker for his tunes Sunday, also playing Sunday was some other bloke who hardly played a song anyone knew or cared about. 03.01.2022 Big day today...NAIDOC celebrations will be on at the pool from 3, come along enjoy a Bungul, live music, and a refreshing dip. NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’. This committee was once responsible for organising national activities during NAIDOC Week and its acronym has since become the name of the week itself.
