21.01.2022 It's all happening in the Hunter! On Thursday, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival, touring installations in Wollombi village, Stonehurst Cedar Creek and the Undercliff Winery and Gallery. A great community effort attracting visitors to this scenic part of our State. They also met with senior RFS staff at the Lower Hunter Fire Control Centre, in East Maitland. The 2020/21 Bush Fire Danger Period began on 1 October and with it the ‘How fir...eproof is your plan?’ campaign. As you can see in the photos of Wollombi, the Hunter area is looking particularly green, but as the RFS officers advised the Governor, no one should be complacent.
