11.01.2022 This week, we will be doing a Mother’s Day special! We are so proud to be putting this together on Go Well, featuring only music from female Australian musicians and singer/songwriters. Our interview this week is with Miranda Mueller, who lives in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria, Australia, where she runs her business Go to Ground, a herb and vegetable seedling nursery, that adds to her simple lifestyle, rich with activism and a love of all things green. Cate talks with Mir...anda about her passion permaculture, and how reconnecting with the art of growing food is so good for human health and the earth's wellbeing. This week featured articles include how weeds can be good for you, particularly the dandelion that has so many nutritional benefits; 6 ways we can teach future generations about sustainable living; and what is bloating and what causes it. Also, need to vent? Turn to real life support, not social media. With our new 2-hour timeslot, we have more time for news & research, and lots more time for music, so hope you can tune in or livestream from the net. WHEN: Monday 10 May, from 11am - 1pm (NEW EXTENDED 2HR SHOW!) WHERE: MAINfm - https://mainfm.net/ HOST: Cate Mercer, Editor & Publisher - The Art Of Healing #gowellradio #healthandwellness #wellbeing #wellness #arts #music #community #health #ageing #PERMACULTURE #Sustainability #digestion

02.01.2022 For our final show of the year... We are honoured to be interviewing Ronni Kahn AO - a social entrepreneur and founder of food rescue charity OzHarvest; a non-denominational charity that rescues excess food which would otherwise be discarded, delivering the equivalent of 25 million meals a year! Ronni also created the NEST program Nutrition, Education & Sustenance Training which aims to educate vulnerable Australians about nutrition and healthy eating. Also on this... week’s program Cate will share practical tools to support mental health following prolonged stress. Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have introduced a new framework for emotional wellbeing that focuses on specific skills that can be learned. Traditionally, the focus in psychology research has been on the treatment of mental illness, however the conversation is being broadened to advocate cultivating wellbeing at any stage - even when you're relatively healthy. Plus, nutrients an integrative doctor suggests to prioritise to build a strong immune system. WHEN: Thursday 17 December 2020 from 9:00- 10:00am WHERE: MAINfm - https://mainfm.net/ HOST: Cate Mercer, Editor & Publisher - The Art of Healing magazine #healthandwellness #ozharvest #mentalhealth
