02.01.2022 Dear Colleagues, The BHP contract has started as of the 30th of January and I would like to congratulate everyone on an outstanding effort in making this contract start with an overwhelming success. Whilst it was great our client was so impressed on how seamless the transition was, it is important to acknowledge the amount of effort by everyone to assist in simultaneously starting bus services to five of BHPs largest and most valuable mine sites in Australia on the one day. ...Perhaps one of the largest transitions in bussing history in Western Australia. A big thankyou goes out to all our new and current staff, suppliers and partners who assisted in: Procuring and positioning 50 buses and inducting/ training 98 new employees in a matter of 8 weeks, Establishing a new depot in Newman, installing offices, setting up workshops and equipment Installing state of the art accessories and technology on buses to comply to our client safety requirements Establishing finance, developing cash flows, P& Ls, insurances and dealing with Banks to prove we could do it. Setting up rosters, software systems, permits, policies and procedures to comply to high level BHP standards Providing help from other depots to support each other in this busy time and assist where they could to take on extra jobs to alleviate pressure and finally having the courage to join our team or step up in your current position to make Go West bigger and better for the future of all our families. Now the contract start up has been implemented, it is all our responsibilities in making sure compliance in safety and systems is done in accordance with the contracts of all our valuable clients, which I have no doubt will be performed to the best of all your abilities. 01.01.2022 Go West Tours is seeking to Hire 50 bus drivers to assist in the Resources sector for a minimum of 3 months to double capacity of buses for social spacing on multiple projects. $35+ per hour rates of pay and staying at quality BHP camps with all chartered airfares (50 percent capacity) and meals provided. Roster is 2 weeks on 1 week off. If you need to fill some down time whilst this crisis is on, why not do it in the warmth and earn some money in safe, controlled environments.
