23.01.2022 INTRODUCING THE TEAM KRISTINA SOGGEE Project Architect B.Arch, M.Arch... Kristina was born and raised in the UK but with her family, at the age of 16, moved to Australia in 2002. Having grown up in a historically rich and much older northern hemisphere country, Kristina found the built environment of Australia vastly different from what she was accustomed to. This enhanced her passion and pushed her towards a career in Architecture. In 2006 Kristina commenced her studies at the University of South Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies in 2009, and a Masters of Architecture in 2011. Greg offered Kristina work experience in 2013 which quickly turned into full time work. She was charmed by the Mid North’s diversity and unique beauty, including its wine and fantastic food, now calling it her home. Kristina believes architecture should be practical and functional, with materials and spaces that trigger both sense and sensibility. That buildings are more about the people in them, and the environment in which they sit, being a positive contribution to the lives of both. Parallel to her professional development, Kristina’s artistic endeavours have seen her as an exhibited artist. She also enjoys hiking and spending time with her friends and two dogs. 19.01.2022 INTRODUCING THE TEAM KIMBERLEY CAMPBELL architect BArch (Hons)... Kimberley is a registered architect with over 13 years experience. Graduating from the University of South Australia in 2007. Kimberley gained pre-grad experience at DesignInc Adelaide from 2005, where she continued her professional career after graduating. Throughout this time she developed a range of skills through all stages of project delivery including master planning, concept development, documentation and contract administration. Kimberley has previously tutored first year Architecture students for Design Studio at UniSA. Kimberley has extensive experience in the education sector, managing consultants, heritage approvals and compliance upgrades within both the public and private sectors. She believes a strong focus on collaboration and communication between client, design team and builder is essential in producing a successful architectural outcome. Her husband’s passion for brewing brought the family to Clare where he works for Pikes Brewery (designed by GP Architects). Kimberley commenced working for us in 2019 becoming an integral part of the team, keen to further her residential experience and explore the more personal scale of the profession. Kimberley is kept on her toes with her two young daughters, but also enjoys runs along the beautiful Riesling Trail, yoga, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. 12.01.2022 INTRODUCING THE TEAM GREG PULFORD Managing Director AIA, B.Arch... Greg graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1973. He commenced his career in Darwin, NT working for the Commonwealth Dept of Works, on a mixture of governmental offices and housing in the design section. A shift took him to Alice Springs where he continued working for the government within the construction section. A strong interest in landscaping and Australian native plants while living in Alice Springs led to his decision to leave the government and establish his own company Bush Landscapes which focused on landscape design and construction. Greg and his wife Julianne started a family and in 1980 they returned to South Australia, settling in Clare, where he has remained part of the small, tight-knit community ever since. Having initially worked in the drawing office at Bowley Rural Buildings in Clare, he began to build his reputation for residential and commercial work and in 1990 Greg registered with the Board of Architects SA and established GP Architects. Greg is highly involved in the local community, having twice been a President of Lions Club of Clare, and he has used his professional experience as a long-term member of the Council Development Assessment Panel. Also passionate about music, Greg was a member of local Theatre Restaurant group Auburn Players for 14 years, and was also a member of a bush band, the Flamin’ Galahs, writing and performing Australian themed songs. We have now helped them complete 4 buildings - all from original structures on the site. Their Tasting Room is the newest element to be finished - available for functions but day to day as their Tasting Room for tastings and platters.

As a young adult Val lived in the remote town of Wudinna, where she juggled running a business and raising four children. Life bought her family to Clare in 2003 and she started working for Greg in 2005. Val is the heart of the business, a pragmatist that ensures the smooth running of the practice.
