14.01.2022 If you haven't already done so, now is the time to cut back your roses. Cut away any dead branches and free up some room in the Center of your plant for new growth. Cut back quite some distance down the stem on an angle not straight. Use sharp secateurs So as not to damage the stems. Find a point on the stem that has what looks like a join and cut there. The new growth will sprout from this spot. ... Adding some organic matter and mulch at this time will keep the plant healthy through the winter. Spray rose with white oil or rose shied when the new leaves appear. Remember to dead head the flower and re spray every 6 months. See more
