04.01.2022 Our two Senior Clinical Officers, Ranindu Abe and Diana Siriwardena, recently organised a unique Specialty Careers 'Speed Dating' Night at the Adelaide Health & Medical Sciences Building! In what was a careers night like no other, medical students from all year levels worked together in groups to mingle with and get to know the 5 medical specialists who kindly volunteered their time to provide insights into their various fields! With representation from General Practice, Derm...atology, Palliative Care, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the students were introduced to quite a broad spectrum of potential career pathways! The night was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended and will definitely be an event we will look to take forward to future years! A massive thank you to the AHMS for allowing us to use their amazing facilities, to our sponsors for the night - MDA National & Barrister's Block Winery, and of course our five lovely speakers, without whom the night simply would not have been possible!
