25.01.2022 The Formula 1 Grand Prix de France takes note of the impossibility to maintain its event Due to the declarations of the President of the French Republic to ban major events until at least the middle of July and to maintain the closure of the Schengen area until further notice, and the recent decisions announced by the French Government to fight against the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the GIP Grand Prix de France - Le Castellet takes note of the impossibility to maintain th...e Formula 1 Grand Prix de France on June 28th. The Formula 1 Grand Prix de France would like to thank its clients, all the administrators of its GIP, the Circuit Paul Ricard, all its partners and the companies accompanying it in the organisation of this event. 18.01.2022 To our valued members, ANZAC Day is day of remembrance, and has always been the most important day for our two Clubs, Hurstville RSL and South Hurstville RSL. We are saddened that this will be the first year in a long time that we will not be hosting our ANZAC Day Dawn Service. There’s no doubt that ANZAC Day 2020 will be very different to ANZAC Days of previous years. However while we will not be gathering at services or marches, there are still ways we can pause and reflec...t to remember those who have served our nation and made the ultimate sacrifice. How You Can Commemorate ANZAC Day 2020: Keep the ANZAC Spirit Alive At 6am on ANZAC Day, #lightupthedawn by standing at the end of your driveway, on your balcony or in your living room to remember all those who have served and sacrificed. Light up the dawn Tune into live commemorative services The ABC will be broadcasting a 5.30am service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. There will also be a 10am service from the Anzac Memorial in Sydney that will be broadcast on ABC and streamed live. Reach out to a mate or veteran who might be alone Many people are alone during this time of isolation. It’s an opportunity to invoke the ANZAC value of mateship and check to see how a mate is doing. And if you know a veteran please call or reach out to them, check in on them, thank them for their service and help them if needed during this time. Honour Our Traditions Make ANZAC cookies with your family and drop them on your neighbours’ doorsteps or to close family and friends. Draw a Poppy on the driveway or footpath with chalk and include the words ‘LEST WE FORGET’. A great way to do something different all while talking about why we all pause on this special day. Together even while apart we’ll remember those who served and sacrificed. LEST WE FORGET.

16.01.2022 5 Ways To Pay Your Respects This Anzac Day At Home During Covid-19 Restrictions As we approach Anzac Day this Saturday April 25th, you may be wondering how you and your family can still commemorate this important day. While the current COVID-19 restrictions mean that we are unable to gather for dawn service, there are still plenty of ways you can reflect on the sacrifices made by those brave men and women who served to protect our country. ABC programming will commence at 5am... on Anzac Day, with ceremony broadcast live from the Australian War Memorial from 5.30am on April 25th. In saying this we have put together 5 different ways to honour the Anzacs within the comfort of your own home and still abiding by the COVID-19 restrictions. 1. Hold a dawn service from your driveway At 5:55am on Saturday 25th April, light a candle and stand at the end of your driveway or balcony. At 6:00am commence a minute's silence to reflect on the sacrifice of the brave service men and women, both past and present. 2. Decorate your letterbox, windows or bins Arts and crafts with the kids to create a floral wreath or red crepe paper poppies that are traditionally laid down on Anzac day at memorials or worn on clothing. Creative ideas on how to create these can be found online using simple house hold items. 3. Hold your own gunfire breakfast at home Following the dawn service, it is customary to follow with a traditional ‘gunfire breakfast’. Today, the gunfire breakfast has evolved to entail a traditional breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and baked beans. Why not host your own gunfire breakfast at home? 4. Listen to Anzac-inspired songs I Was Only 19 by Redgum Spirit of the Anzacs by Lee Kernaghan To my Fellow Man by Lugh Damen The Anzac by Adam Brand I am Australian by The Seekers On Every Anzac Day by John Schumann 5. Bake Anzac Biscuits Recipe found here: https://bit.ly/2yBoZVv

Mattia Binotto, Managing Director Gestione Sportiva and Team Principal quote I’m pleased to announce that Carlos will join Scuderia Ferrari as from the 2021 championship. With five seasons already behind him, Carlos has proved to be very talented and has shown that he has the technical abili...ty and the right attributes to make him an ideal fit with our family. We’ve embarked on a new cycle with the aim of getting back to the top in Formula 1. It will be a long journey, not without its difficulties, especially given the current financial and regulatory situation, which is undergoing a sudden change and will require this challenge to be tackled in a different way to the recent past. We believe that a driver pairing with the talent and personality of Charles and Carlos, the youngest in the past fifty years of the Scuderia, will be the best possible combination to help us reach the goals we have set ourselves. quote Carlos Sainz #55 quote I am very happy that I will be driving for Scuderia Ferrari in 2021 and I'm excited about my future with the team. I still have an important year ahead with McLaren Racing and I’m really looking forward to going racing again with them this season. quote Born in Madrid on 1st September 1994, Carlos already has plenty of Formula 1 experience, having taken part in 102 World Championship Grands Prix, over five seasons.
