14.01.2022 Hello locals and beyond There is a family in Glenburn, Who has lived local for a number of years, who, due to COVID shut down has had their livelihood stopped in its tracks, due to no fault of their own. They have used their initiative to assist and lift the community by utilising their food van on a highway site at Glenburn, not running interference to the only other business serving some but not identical foods. Apparently there had been a complaint lodged with the local Mu...rrindindi Council, so they have been told to cease trade or be subjected to a fine. One complaint can cause so much distress. Surely there will be someone to use common sense, to allow a community who has spent so much time lately in isolation, restricted in movements, no permitted to go out too far, certainly unable to venture out for a meal, now having something to look forward to on a Saturday and Sunday only. To do such, you must comply with some rules and regs., this is the only safe and viable position in the area for patrons to pull in to purchase good fresh food, great coffee, friendly service, a variety of foods differing to the nearest business. They utilise eco friendly containers etc., have a rubbish bin, keep warm by the fire and enjoy the friendly atmosphere while you wait for your food to be cooked, plenty of social distancing to comply with the latest restrictions and have had many compliments re., great food and exceptional coffee. There has been truck drivers who have stated they will refer their mates to this spot, embarrassing for them when it is not there. Please support the locals as they support you. See more
