18.01.2022 LOVE & FRIENDSHIP We would like to acknowledge the Nyoongar Whadjuk people, the traditional custodians of this land. We would like to acknowledge our gratitude that we share this land today, our sorrows for the costs of that sharing, and our hope that we can move to a place of justice and partnership together. The ladies of Grace Communion International Western Australia had the privilege of working with Noongar Elder Neta Knapp to produce this beautiful piece of art. ... The painting emphasises the importance of relationships and the interconnection of all things. The half circles symbolise women and the circle in the middle represents place. The women have come together to meet in friendship, as sisters, and to worship. As we celebrate NAIDOC week this week, we remember the blessings of coming together, and pray that we may find opportunities to seek and share love and friendship.

09.01.2022 What many of us need most today is a sense of hope. Between crime in our neighborhood, corruption in the political arena, destruction of our environment, and pe...rsonal struggles with job, relationships, and finances, we find ourselves bombarded on all sides with reasons to lose hope. In fact, we may be at the point that we wonder how we will ever make it through another day. This is why it is important today to take a moment and ponder the unfailing love of the God of hope who came to join us in our darkness to bring us into his marvelous light. #GCIMeditationMonday See more
