07.01.2022 Our Message from the weekend is now live. Note to self, don't use the new HDR feature on iPhone to record movies as it increases render time from 3 minutes to 7 hours Then again there may be a setting that I missed somewhere https://www.hobart.org.au/grace-online-29th-november-2020/

06.01.2022 For those who weren't able to get to our service this morning I've just uploaded the message online for your viewing pleasure. The sound is okay but not great. I'm in the process of sourcing a directional mic for an iPhone. We're hoping to have each weekend online by Monday midday at the latest. Grace Kids due to there being no program for you today there's a special bonus edition of your online program up for you as well :) https://www.hobart.org.au

04.01.2022 As you may have noticed our physical Sunday services are starting back up on the 26th July and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone in person once again. Here are a few pointers that you will all need to know before attending. Our service starts at 10am but you’ll need to arrive a little bit earlier than usual because we have to take names of everyone who attends. We will have 3 tables set up in the foyer where you can register. If one person from each family grou...p heads to the tables they can register the names of everyone with them. The rest can go straight into the auditorium (using the far door near the kitchen) and find themselves a seat. There will be ushers there to help you. We have to keep 1.5m between each group so that works out at two chairs so it should be easy to figure out. We are leaving every second row vacant and will be opening all of the seating up. If you’re the first into a row please make your way to the middle so that people aren’t having to cross over in front of you. If you have little ones or need to be seated near an aisle please let our ushers know and they’ll look after you. If you want to stop and chat before the service please do that outside the building as we are trying to keep the foyer as clear as possible during sign in. At the end of the service you can chat in the foyer or outside but please be aware of the 1.5m rule. It will be here with us for a while so we need to make the best of the it. If you aren’t feeling well or one of your children isn’t well we won’t be able to let you attend so please stay home for the sake of those most vulnerable amongst us. We will be recording the message so you’ll be able to catch up and won’t miss out. We know it’s a pain but it’s what we need to do at the moment. We’re all in this together. If you’re feeling anxious or have any questions please don’t hesitate to speak to one of our team. We’ll do everything we can to make your morning with us as safe and relaxed as possible. See you all on Sunday!!

02.01.2022 Good morning and a big welcome to church for our Grace Kids, your program is about to start :) Today is the last time (we hope) that there won't be a public gathering of Gracers. Next week we're back together again! 10 am at Emmanuel. It will be so nice seeing all your lovely faces. This morning I have a message that I hope will encourage your hearts as this timeout draws to an end. It's been a long season that we've walked through but then so is life. When people say that l...ife is short they're not actually telling the truth, it's the longest thing you've ever done. Matt is sharing communion today and is ably supported by Addie and Henri :) You'll love it! So without further ado, it's on with the show . . . https://www.hobart.org.au
