Tony's op went well and he is now in ICU for 2 days which is standard practice for this kind of op, then off to the ward. The hospital is very strict about visitors, so unfortunately no visiting. We are collecting items to complete boys 7-9 yrs boxes (needing T-shirts, undies, thongs, soap & toys) & girls 10-14 years boxes (needing soap, face washers, skipping ropes or play items). Colours available are black, cream and olive green - L same as above plus yellow, blue and pink - M kids - yellow, sky blue and cream. 100% of the cost goes to support the work that Lynn Johnston is doing in Cambodia.... 02.01.2022 Wellspring Emergency Relief Fund This week a number of people in our community lost their homes to a fire, leaving them with nothing but collection of belongin...gs. This has been devastating, as they already are living in strained means and were receiving community support. As an organisation we are partnering with the leader of the community and those that have either lost their homes or had parts of their homes destroyed to create a strategy together with our Wellspring leader David, to rebuild the houses that were destroyed. The men and families of the community will be the building team, but we are in need of finances for the housing materials. We are needing donations over this weekend so we can provide a home for these families ASAP It will go directly to rebuilding their homes and will make an incredibly large difference in these beautiful families’ lives. To rebuild four houses the cost will be about $300 USD To fix the roofs, walls on the 5 houses there were damaged will cost about $180 USD.
