24.01.2022 Hello beautiful people To help limit the current Covid 19 outbreak and support my community I am closing the studio until the 29th of December unless advised otherwise. This hasn’t been an easy decision to come to by any means. I’m closing based on community responsibility and knowing that we all just want to be able to spend Christmas with our loved ones. ... Thank you so much for your support throughout the year. What a year of growth, health and goal kicking it’s been for us up in the GW studio I wanted to be able to wish you a Merry Christmas in person, but alas this appears to be the only viable way right now. Best wishes for wonderful Christmas no matter how it’s spent. Missing you all greatly and looking forward to welcoming you back into the studio sooner rather than later. Lots of love, Stay healthy

13.01.2022 There is so much media frenzy and confusion when it comes to what the ‘optimal diet’ is and this due to so called fancy products, new fads and countless diet trends. But what Simon @plant_proof highlights in the release of his book, The Proof is in the Plants, is that actually the research is pretty darn clear... and it points directly at the protective power of plants When it comes to human health, the scientific literature makes it stunningly clear that the best diet... for us is one in which about 85% or more of our calories come from whole plant foods So let’s make sure we are powered by plants

12.01.2022 Sometimes the hardest thing to wear, is our own skin. But when we wear it with confidence, we GLOW (inspiring others to glow also) We can get caught up trying to be who we think we should be, placing unrealistic expectations on ourselves in many areas of our lives in order to feel like we fit in or belong. We can hide this pattern under the umbrella of ‘wellness’ and ‘self development’, when really it’s far less about doing and much more about being. We need to remove th...e goggles of comparison because ultimately what we think of ourselves is a lot more important than what others think of us. Having compassion for ourselves and our body comes from recognising and embracing our humanness. (Definitely me as a recover from a disc injury in my back & can’t train ) If you’re needing a little Glow up this week, try giving 1 or more of these a go: Drink lots of filtered water Eat heaps of whole foods - think the rainbow Get adequate sleep each night Move your body in a way you enjoy Reduce your stimulants - coffee, sugar & screens Read and gain knowledge on subjects that interest you Get rid of toxicity/negativity Invest in your dreams Spend time with yourself without distractions Get out into nature Take one step at a time Gracefully Whole ~ wellness is wholeness @civi_

10.01.2022 Lets jimmy more joy out of 2021 shall we! First point of call... stop looking out & start looking within. What ignites you, lights you up and makes your soul zing comes from inside you. ... We unlock joy when we are living with purpose and passion. But your passion isn’t out there, it’s in here (in you). This means you need to experiment with and exploring the things that interest you. When you can find the combination of those things that you enjoy, you’re good at, and that others need (because being in service is a beautiful thing), that’s when you’ve hit your sweet spot. You don’t find your passion by thinking about it. You find it by doing things, getting good at something and then leveraging those skills to create a life you love. Let your intuition/gut instinct be your compass. Where does it lead you? That’s your sweet spot, they are the feelings, places, things and people that are all part of the amazing puzzle which will help unlock more joy out of your year ahead. So get out a pen and paper, jot down what instinctively comes to mind and then starting filling more of your life with what’s on your list. 04.01.2022 Don’t compare your behind the scenes with someone else’s highlight reel I listened to @plant_proof podcast with @melissaambrosini this week on the topic of ‘comparison-itis’. All of us have moments where we compare ourselves to others and are then triggered into feeling ‘less than’ because of a perceived belief that someone else is ‘better’ than us for whatever reason. ... I feel this is particularly true in our current society for women when it comes to body image. So I wanted to be transparent on this platform, as well as make an effort to shamelessly embrace all of me. I get extremely self conscious of the loose/saggy skin on my stomach. But that skin is a reminder that I formed, grew and carried a little soul inside of me... which is nothing short of INCREDIBLE, just like my son. Both photos are real, both are equally beautiful. It’s time to fiercely love all of yourself ladies! Compare leads to despair. If you feel like this is something that burdens you, be sure to get yourself a copy of @melissaambrosini book ‘Comparisonitis’ so you can stop comparing yourself to others and genuinely be happy.
