25.01.2022 Coronavirus Update Gracemere Medical Centre is still seeing patients. We are still offering telehealth consultations as well. If you have any flu like symptoms - cough or sore throat or a temperature, a consultation via telephone or video is needed. To minimise any possible exposure to any virus social distancing and hand hygiene is required. For us to achieve social distancing we need to limit the number of people in the practice and in each consultation room. So please do not be offended if we ask you to go sit in your car or go for a walk until the doctor is ready for you. And please don't be offended if we only allow one support / carer person into the consultation room with you. Gracemere Medical Centre 49331590 to make appointments. Currently we do not have the online booking systems online.
22.01.2022 Gracemere Medical Centre is still seeing patients. We want everyone in our community to be safe and Covid free. So please stay at home. All patients who have a booking with a GP will have a telephone or video consultation with a GP and a face to face consultation will be organised if it is required. Telephone and video consultations are being utilised to keep all patients and staff safe. Your GP can do scripts, referrals, forms for pathology and we will get them to you s...afely in the best way for you. This might be through us faxing the chemist that you use the script the GP has just done. Your GP will call you for your consultation. Our doctors are here consulting with patients 6 days per week. We can accept new patients although there are limited number of appointments available. Please call our practice 0749331590 to make your appointment for a telephone or video consultation. If you have trouble getting through on the phone, please send a message through messages on here or email [email protected] Our main message is to stay at home and be safe. See more

18.01.2022 Central Queensland, we need your help! Going out in public when you're sick is not responsible. Going to work with a sore throat and runny nose is not responsib...le. Visiting family and friends when you're feeling under the weather, is not responsible. Not only is it irresponsible to do all of the above, but you also risk infecting someone who cannot fight off a virus, like the elderly man at the supermarket or the immunocompromised woman on the bus. A simple way to stop spreading germs to those around you is to stay at home, because at the end of the day, you're not just responsible for your health, but also the health of others. If you're sick, please stay at home and help to save lives. #StayAtHomeSaveLives.
17.01.2022 Everyone who gets novel coronavirus (COVID-19) will experience it a little differently, with different levels of severity and symptoms. This chart shows you the symptoms and compares them with a common cold and the flu.
17.01.2022 Hands are the primary carriers of dirt, viruses, and bacteria. Hand washing is the most effective way to stop the spread, but do you know how to successfully wa...sh your hands? Start by wetting your hands with water, applying soap and lathering thoroughly. Follow the guide below for the best hand washing techniques. See more
16.01.2022 Social Distancing needs to be thought about at all times. This and washing hands are the best ways to prevent coronavirus. Please consider if you actually need to go out to shops or such. Even Doctor's surgeries! At Gracemere Medical Centre we have taken over half the chairs away from the waiting rooms and would prefer to talk to patients over the phone more than we see you. So please phone and work out the best way to 'see' a doctor. 49331590 8.30 - 5.00pm.
