25.01.2022 We have been busy with painting the primer, sealer undercoat in the shed extension. The ceiling white will be applied in the next few days.

25.01.2022 On the 23rd February we held our first BYO BBQ for the members and their families. The numbers were down due to the wet weather but we had an enjoyable night for those who made the effort to turn up. Cheers Gracemere Mens Shed.

23.01.2022 Tomorrow we hold our first meeting in the new extension that is the kitchen, office and function room.

22.01.2022 Our shed is up and running again but we have to follow strict Covid-19 rules during our mornings of operation. We can accept work from the general public as per our website that shows some of the work we undertake. The website is www.gracemeremensshed.org.au

20.01.2022 Recently we made up this modified day bed for a local lady in Gracemere. It was made out of recycled pine timber and finished with a clear varnish. Once finished it looked vey impressive.

14.01.2022 3/4 of the ceiling is now completed by Friday afternoon the 18th Jan 2019. We hope to have the rest completed by Monday the 21st Jan 2019. We have been making good progress so far.

12.01.2022 We had a good day today and managed to get half the ceiling beams up, bolted and braced in place. Sometime Monday or early Tuesday we can start to install the ply sheeting to complete this part of the project.

12.01.2022 Well the job of cutting in is in progress and on Saturday the 2nd of February the first coat of paint will be completed and time permitting the second coat will be applied to half of the walls so our electrician can finish his part of the electrical work.

11.01.2022 Our new shed extension opening went off very well on Friday with 80 official guests, members and their partners turning out on the 22nd February 2019. Some of the members wives/partners came in early in the day to prepare a light lunch and they did us all proud as the lunch was abundant and very well presented on the new six metre long lunchroom table. We were fortunate and thankfull that the ladies did this for us on the day as the lunch capped the day off extremely well. Thanks from all of us at the Mem's Shed Gracemere.

10.01.2022 We were very privileged to share Tom's birthday at the shed today. His daughter delivered a fantastic decorated sponge cake and Tom shared it with the guys. All the best from me and all the guys at the shed. Cheers Chris.

09.01.2022 We have a garage sale on Saturday the 16th starting at 7: 30am to 1: 00pm at lot 101 Ian Besch Drive Gracemere. Miscellaneous items for sale.

07.01.2022 Our recent garage sale wasn't a great success as we didn't have a big range of items to sell. In June we plan to hold an auction that will have more items of interest to the members of the public.

05.01.2022 Our Gracemere Men's Shed will take on all sorts of small projects like making coffee tables, TV Cabinets, office desks. BBQ sets and we also do repairs to furniture and many other bits and pieces. Just bring in your plans or ideas and we can decide if we can make it or fix it at very reasonable costs.

02.01.2022 Our shed is now open on Wednesday mornings at the same time as the other days 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

02.01.2022 The next big event will be our end of year Christmas dinner at the Kabra Hotel on the 14th of December starting at 5:30pm for pre dinner drinks and the meals to start about 6:00pm. Cheers Chris Gracemere Mens Shed Inc President.
