21.01.2022 Grace Notes Singers’ new virtual choir video will premiere as part of MVCC’s online presentation for Remembrance Day at 10.55am tomorrow. We are extremely proud of this project and grateful to MVCC and the Clocktower Centre for the opportunity to create it.

20.01.2022 Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, and we have been working with local choir Grace Notes Singers to present you a beautiful virtual experience to honor all Australian...s who have served their country, and their families. You can watch it as a part of Moonee Valley City Council Remembrance Ceremony from 11am, or tune into our Facebook tomorrow at 12 noon to enjoy this special moment as a stand alone performance. Lest we forget.

19.01.2022 GNS having our first Zoom rehearsal. Singing together (even from a distance) is definitely good for the soul in these crazy times!

18.01.2022 Looking forward to a laugh and a sing on Sunday afternoon! Hope you can join us for our fundraiser. Don’t forget to book your tickets! https://www.facebook.com/events/663549877788937/?ti=icl

17.01.2022 Just a reminder about our fundraiser this afternoon. Enjoy a nice uplifting film with friends and a glass of wine or a popcorn with the bonus of a live performance of one of the songs written for the real Military Wives choir! Tickets will be available at the door.

16.01.2022 Our third virtual choir project! This piece is lovely because of its simplicity (two parts here, yet with lovely harmonies) so maybe that’s why it is sung at weddings, funerals, graduations and celebrations so often. It’s certainly been sung by many members of our choir for years. Some of us could already sing our parts from memory when we first discussed recording this piece as a well wish for someone very special to our choir. Hopefully our recording of ‘The Lord Bless You and Keep You’ by John Rutter fills your ears with happiness, your hearts with lightness and your minds with peace. Special thanks to Ed Chan, our accompanist, conductor, sound mixer (and alto!) for this project. Your musicianship has been so appreciated. https://youtu.be/pJ0P2qVl_IQ

15.01.2022 Here for your enjoyment is our new virtual choir project, Tim Brent’s arrangement of the song made famous in the 80’s by Cindy Lauper True Colours. We just love the message of hope and strength this song promotes. Hope you love it too! Special thanks to Ed Chan for all his work on this production. We used a quicker and easier mix of Zoom and Soundtrap to produce this one as we want to reduce our turnaround times and produce more content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_GOaxG1P8U&feature=youtu.be

13.01.2022 To commemorate Remembrance Day 2020 we created this virtual choir performance from our homes during a hard Covid-19 lockdown in Melbourne. Many thanks to The Clocktower Centre and Moonee Valley City Council for commissioning this project and special thanks to Ed Chan and Chris Hocking of Animate Everything for the production work. https://youtu.be/2-V6Z4zaU8M

11.01.2022 Check out our very talented accompanist, Ed Chan, making the most of isolation! https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=G7zCc3XGxJ0

11.01.2022 So we tried our first zoom rehearsal tonight... this is not us.... but you get the idea!

10.01.2022 For everyone using their isolation time to learn music theory...

04.01.2022 Loving this virtual choir performance fresh from Juliana Kay and Choral Edge!

03.01.2022 Don’t forget to get in quick to book your tickets for our fundraiser next weekend! Spots are limited so don’t miss out! https://www.facebook.com/events/663549877788937/?ti=icl

03.01.2022 Absolutely amazing!! Make sure you watch it on your phone on a rotating chair for the full effect! Love it.

01.01.2022 We are extremely proud to present our first virtual choir project, Paul Langford's beautiful arrangement of the Scottish Folk Song, Skye Boat Song. Some of you will recognise this as the theme song to the popular show "Outlander". Many thanks to our conductor Jan Goodall and video editor Ian Knox for all their hours of work on producing this video. We can't wait to hear what you all think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5JlHbOpZ7M&feature=youtu.be
