24.01.2022 http:// G R A T I T U D E // If one picture could sum up the amount of positive feedback you receive in the first six weeks of the newborn period, then this would be it! There are delicious moments of baby falling asleep on your chest, or splashing with joy in the bath, or opening their eyes wide to realllly look at you closely, but in general those first weeks are a pretty thankless and hard slog! Lucky things get better from there!!

23.01.2022 Meet our new Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr Sally Cohen BSc.(Hons.1) MBBS FRANZCOG, who is joining our Grace on-call obstetrics team from this weekend . Born and bred in Queensland, Sally earned her stripes in Sydney, graduating as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney before completing her obstetric training and Laproscopic Fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (yes, that’s the RPA you see on TV). Dr Cohen then completed her Advanced Laproscopic Fellowship at the highly revered St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney before returning to Queensland with her young family to serve our wonderful Gold Coast community. We are truly honoured and delighted to welcome Dr Cohen to our Grace family (and she speaks French - Voilà!)

The word "unprecedented" has been used in overdrive. Among this, there have been moments of extreme joy. Personal successes. Achievements worthy of such pride.... Our time apart has encouraged us to refocus on what is most important: family and friends. We are so fortunate to be able to have work that we love, with people that we love. With extensive experience in antenatal, birth and postnatal care, she has been such a valuable addition to the care of our Grace patients. (She is also has a wicked sense of humour and is a frequent provider of delicious baked goods which absolutely had nothing to do with her appointment at Grace )
