21.01.2022 Our annual collectors trip away was terrific and full on Lots of shopping, eating, coffee and wine Adelaide turned on the most beautiful spring blooms. We visited a country antique fair, saw some baby joeys and enjoyed HighTea at Avalon at Woodside Wisteria swaying in the breeze, everywhere in the Adelaide Hills, we tasted the smoothest whiskey and gin, cheese tasting, chocolate tasting and APRICHOCS at Haigs! sooooooo good and shopping at some great stores Our final day... was enjoyed at McLaren Vale wine region. First stop d’Arenberg Winery, The Cube...... artsy, great wine, awesome views and fun times d’Arengerg Winery is fantastic, quirky, arty..... even the loo is something to see Lunch was pizza at Pizzateca and a quick browse at a cute antique store, Littlest Vintage. Our next winery was Samuels Gorge, delish reds here, cute little cellar door and the loveliest staff We finished the day with afternoon tea in a flower hothouse at Flower Cellar Door. A unique fun experience, yummy cake and great coffee and tea and we even got to cuddle Stormy the doberman A great weekend as usual....... See you next year in Byron Bay, woohoo!! See more
