13.01.2022 GTPT’s Easy Apple Slice INGREDIENTS: - 1 x 800g Can of Ardmona Sliced Apples - 200g Self Raising Flour, the Healthy Baker Brand... - 100g Natvia Sweetener - 75g Lite Nuttelex - 1 x Egg METHOD: Pre heat oven at 180 degrees, in a large bowl mix apples, flour and sweetener until combined. Once combined, melt butter and mix with egg and then add into bowl & mix through and pop into medium sized baking tray and cook until you can stick a knife in that comes out clean. I cooked mine for about 45 mins. This recipe made about 18 pieces and worked out to roughly 84 cals per serve! 11.01.2022 These are some common foods people are eating on a regular basis, but are struggling to understand why they aren't losing weight, but Grace I eat SO healthy all the time!!!? It is extremely important to understand that although HEALTHY FOODS are super beneficial to consume for overall health and function this doesn’t automatically translate to they hold no energy. And by now we should all know that too many calories = fat gain.... As you can see here, some of the healthiest foods are also the highest in calories! So Grace are you saying this means I shouldn't eat these foods? Of course not! 04.01.2022 Here’s a quick little snap of some of the staples from today’s grocery shop Flexible dieting isn’t really a diet per se, it’s more so a way to approach your overall nutrition. It can allow you:... The freedom of food choices and to eat foods you enjoy without the constant obsession Education of what you’re putting into your body Understand portion control and eating foods in moderation, meaning you are less likely to go through the binge/restrict cycle and yo-yo dieting Removes the anxiety around food choices particularly when attending social events, eating out etc. Stops you from removing whole food groups from your diet Aim to get at least 80% of your daily intake from whole foods (fruits, veg, lean proteins, whole grains etc.), a basic recommendation would be 1-2 serves of fruit a day 3 serves of veggies a day 25g fibre daily And then the left over 20%? Plan in some more foods you really enjoy and probably couldn’t live without (if someone said no more chocolate I’d actually die). This means you don’t have to go without, feel like some ice cream? No stress you can fit it in and still achieve results AND lead a healthy lifestyle!
