16.01.2022 The last event to mark Graceville Bowls Club centenary year was enjoyed enormously on Friday by members and friends. The Rantan Bush Band had us all up dancing to old favourites Pride of Erin and Strip the Willow among others. The light supper was bountiful and lovely. Thankyou to all that helped make the evening such a success.

09.01.2022 Club members, Cynthia Schonfeld and Linda Bird, recently organised a cake stall (and other foods) outside Woolworths in Sherwood, to raise funds for cattle farmers and their families in flood affected areas. The wonderful amount of $1,406 was raised and passed on to the QCWA Public Rural Crisis Fund. Many thanks to Cynthia and Linda for their hard work and to club members who donated cakes, other foods and cash.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately, like most clubs during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closed to all activities (social bowls, comps and all function bookings) for the foreseeable future. We'll be back soon hopefully. Keep well and virus free in the meantime everyone

03.01.2022 Our Come and Try day held on the 21st of January was a great success. We had approximately 40 visitors attend and 10 members lending a hand helping out throughout the afternoon. We received a number of applications to join as social members, and a couple of additional possibilities for new people who want to come for lessons with a view to taking up our sport. Requests for the club to hold some Barefoot Bowls days throughout the year were also made by visitors, and we will endeavour to incorporate that in our program. We hope to see you all next time!

02.01.2022 Thanks to the volunteers who provided a lovely evening for all the ‘noughties’ Birthday members and friends of the club on Friday last. A convivial occasion for all, with some beautiful music provided by Dana Kingsford and her father.

01.01.2022 GBC had their first coaching session for 2020! 17 new and intermediate bowlers went through some handy drills. Thanks to Derek Scott and Ray Stringfellow for facilitating the afternoon. They'll be holding sessions each Friday at 4pm, so come along.
