22.01.2022 We will be participating in Portland Open Studios again this year, something we haven’t done since 2012. We have lots of new work which will be on display as well as our bargain basement which is fully loaded with vintage inventory and a few seconds, all deeply discounted. We will be demonstrating both the art of stencil cutting as well as floorcloth making. Stop by on either the weekend of October 10th/11th or October 17th/18th between 10am and 5pm. Our address is 6107... NE 32nd Place, Portland, 97211, ph: 503 922-0386. There are eight other artists in the neighborhood and we can provide a post card with their addresses and art form. Or if you want to range further, you can purchase a paper tour guide for $15 here or a phone app for $5 here that provides information on all ninety six artists. 21.01.2022 This floorcloth was delivered last week to a customer in Ipswich, Mass. It is a custom version of our Rose City pattern. We were really pleased with how it turned out and Letty seems to really like it.

14.01.2022 I was surprised to see a kitchen that looked familiar on the cover of the Spring 2016 issue of Old House Journal. Yup, it is Jack and Sig Young's kitchen with the corner of their Signoleum floorcloth. Here is the cover and another photo of their beautiful kitchen.

13.01.2022 These floorcloths were recently installed in a house in Texas. The floral pattern is based on upholstery fabric, shown lying on top of one of the floorcloths. The simple checkerboard designs are a nice counterpoint to the bold, fairly intricate fabric pattern.
