23.01.2022 We are happy to announce our next Kids and Parent's Class on Saturday, November 28th from 8:30 am! It is another opportunity for our Kid's Team to teach their parents some of their skills! It is also, a great opportunity for our Adult's Team to introduce their kids to our amazing sport. What can you expect from this class?... A one hour session which will be low intensity and introduce you to some basic concepts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. What to wear/bring? All students are expected to wear their GB Kimono or No-Gi uniform. 15.01.2022 About two years ago, we had an amazing student join our team at Gracie Barra Caringbah. Peter Kokkinakis has been an avid attendee of our classes since his very first day of training. Peter is also legally blind, and began his Jiu-Jitsu journey because of his strong passion for mixed martial arts. Peter began his training with us through private lessons with our Head Instructor, Professor Fred Carvalho. Shortly after these sessions, he started attending three to four classe...s per week in our GB1 Fundamentals Program. We hope that Peter can remind our entire team, that there is nothing stopping you from achieving your goals! We wanted to give all of our students an update on our new COVID-19 regulations. Please read below: 1. All students and visitors must sign in through our updated QR codes, which is through the NSW Government. You can find our QR codes at the front door of the gym, and also throughout the gym. ... 2. All adults and kids either training or visiting our gym, must sign in through our QR codes. All parents are expected to drop off their child and sign in on their behalf. If your child is attending their session by themselves, they are expected to sign in (this applies to our Juniors & Teens class). 3. Online bookings are still essential for all students.
