22.01.2022 Gracie Games Day. With approx. 30 kids on the screen, we had an afternoon of games and winners. Only wish we had of remembered to take more photos. Congratulations to; Zac, Cyd, Charlotte, Luca, Spencer & Malek who were winners of some of the games we played. We will collate the character development sheets (Citizenship) and announce the winners tomorrow. People think Gracie Games Day is for the kids, I think the adults have just as much fun.

20.01.2022 This is one of the most common DMs I get, and it always hurts. It’s amazing how the martial art that our grand masters designed to empower the weak against the ...strong is taught so poorly at BJJ schools around the world that it deters the very people that it was intended to serve. If this has happened to you, don’t give up, there is hope. If you order your favorite pizza, and it shows up folded and crumbled in the box, you don’t blame the pizza, you blame the delivery man who dropped it. Similarly, if you commit yourself to learning jiu-jitsu, and it ends up being one of the worst experiences of your life, jiu-jitsu is not to blame, rather, the instructor - who had no clue how to introduce you to this amazing martial art in a safe, structured and encouraging manner - is at fault. Jiu-jitsu IS for everyone and anyone who tells you otherwise is misinformed or they simply never learned how to teach (or both), in either case, they don’t deserve you as a student. If you are one of the countless people who have ever tried BJJ at a random school and quit for any of the reasons listed above, DM me your story and your location and I’m gonna help you get back on the path, so you can learn the are that was entirely designed for YOU! _ p.s. Although group classes are great, when taking regular one on one lessons, you will find a massive difference in your technical growth. Finding and correcting bad habits, learning key details that may be over looked, being able to dive into so much more in the private lesson, whilst also having flexible timetable.... 12.01.2022 By participating in our Zoom classes you will receive a gratitude certificate. You will also go in the running to receive some Gracie merchandise like; shirts, shorts and even a Gi. Simply print out this sheet, write your name on it and present it to us with how many classes you attended (we will also keep a record) when we return. The highest number of classes, wins. You will also have to show and good levels of all of the 6 characteristics. Responsibility - health - respect - citizenship - manners - caring.
