We are very grateful to have such a strong and kind woman part of our GB community. Join us in celebrating her ONE year birthday with us! "Last November my daughter, Lydia, asked me to join the self-defence class at Gracie Barra, which was led by Professor Raony. This was my first attempt with jiu jitsu and I was so impressed with the self-defence... techniques that I decided to try the fundamentals class. Through Jiu jitsu I have become stronger, both mentally and physically. The people you train with are not just other students they become your teachers and mentors, they boost your self-confidence. They pick you up when the going gets tough. They become family. It has become a huge part of my life, I train 4-5 nights a week.
