19.01.2022 ATTENTION** With sad hearts Gracie Miranda has made the decision to CLOSE FOR TWO WEEKS this continues to the COVID-19 outbreak. Attempting to open on the 6th April 2020. After again deliberating with multiple health professionals and seeking public opinion on the matter; we believe this to be the most appropriate decision at this point. Just to be clear, Gracie Miranda has and no positive indications that any member has been exposed to the COVID-19 virus thus far.... This is not a business decision, but a consideration for humanity. We want to protect our community and people of all ages by doing what we can to flatten the disease curve. Gracie Miranda needs to take serious action to immediately limit day to day interactions and activities and need to do our part to stop this virus from spreading. We apologies to all our members for all the inconvenience caused. During this outbreak, Gracie Miranda will be releasing videos and instructionals on our online platform for all active members to keep learning during closure. The online classes will be released from tomorrow the 19th March 2020, on our new Instagram account @graciemiranda_membersonly. All active members will be receiving emails with links with the private videos tomorrow. The coaches and staff will do their best to ensure new and satisfying content during the closure of the academy. Please do everything you can to take an active roll in preventing the spread of infection. We remain committed getting through this together with compassion and knowledge. 12.01.2022 Broken-hearted is the only way to describe what we are feeling right now. A massive part of our lives is missing never to return. You had an impact on every single person you met and had an energy and positivity that few could match. Quite simply you were one of a kind. You played such an important part in my life and for so many more people. You were such an integral part of Gracie Miranda. Where it is, our mat culture and the people who train there have been massively impac...ted by you. And I’ll promise you this mate, I’ll continue our work and make sure that this doesn’t change. We will miss seeing you in the arvo’s and hearing u and Dash give it to each other. I’m struggling to find the words to adequately describe how much we already miss you and how much pain we’re all feeling. All I know is that our pain must be so small compared to yours if it could make you leave Brandon. You’d always tell me about how good being a Dad is and how Brandon was your greatest achievement. And now my son is finally born I understand what u meant. I wish we could have shared a moment and u met my son mate but it wasn’t meant to be. Know that I will try my best to be there for Brandon. If he ever needs me I will be there. I’m a better man for having known you, and I wish you could have vanquished your demons. I take solace in the fact that you and your soulmate Lisa are back together once more and are looking down upon us telling us all to look after Brandon but get back to living our best lives. Rest in power my brother. I love you and we’ll see each other again one day. See more

05.01.2022 A message from Master Royler and Rolker Gracie to the Students of the Gracie Humaita Association: One Team, One Family, One Legacy This is the motto that surrounds and drives the Gracie Humaita Association and I would like to remind everyone that we are all in this together.... We are ONE TEAM and we all stand in solidarity with you against this common threat. One that can not be seen. We are also ONE FAMILY. Like the famous Gracie Family Train that made its way towards the cage or ring when one of us was fighting, we all now must ride the Gracie Train as ONE FAMILY and not only help each other but the whole community around us. ONE LEGACY. The Legacy of the academies has always been that of service to the students. We have offered tuition when students were in a place of financial strife. We have given out scholarship programs for those in need of reduced tuition. We have raised thousands of dollars for charities. Donated thousands of pounds of food and toys to our community. We work tirelessly for our students and we are honored that you are standing by us through this time to ensure that when it is over, there is an academy to attend. Jiu-Jitsu goes beyond the Physical practice. I also would like to remind you and to encourage you to take the Mental Strength you have gained through your training and apply it to your Family, Friends and Neighbours.
