24.01.2022 Feeding Theodore. We’re doing a mixture of purées & finger foods to get maximum nutritional value, develop those fine motor skills & hopefully create a happy eater! Some things we started on were whole steamed broccoli florets, bone broth to thin purée or dip veg in, steamed carrots + slow cooked lamb, avo + banana + hemp chia puddings, coconut kefir to thin purée, white bean & zucchini purée, pumpkin porridge & these egg yolk, coconut & banana custards (which wee his fav!). 24.01.2022 I live a good routine & always feel better when I’ve got one. Lately it’s been soaking oats, chia & LSA overnight. After our morning coastal walk I rinse the soaked oats & cook gently with almond milk, cinnamon & honey. Then too with whatever I have around but usually hemp seeds, blueberries, banana, raw honey & some creamy oat or soy milk morning perfection! #graciousfoodstories

23.01.2022 Coconut Quinoa Porridge Swipe for the recipe! This has been one of Theo’s favourite breakfast options & pretty easy to prepare in the morning when you’ve got a suddenly hungry babe! Delicious like this or with blueberries stirred though during the cooking. My babe loves having something the pick up (as well as the spoon) so the banana fingers work well for us. 07.01.2022 Delicious dhal! I’ve added another recipe for this dhal to my highlights. It’s a family friendly version with a few less spices & no salt. Perfect for babes! The babe had his just like this & loved it! Also loved decorating the wall & floorboards with it I added a temper of garam masala, curry leaves, cumin seeds & cashews to ours after taking out a portion for the babe. We then served ours like this with spiced rice & coriander.

02.01.2022 I’ve been running some cooking & nutrition workshops with a group of mum’s through the @radiancesouthwest network & this week we focused on some easy & healthy lunch box recipes! we made veggie pizzas scrolls, buckwheat & banana pikelets & vanilla chia pudding! A delight to cook with other mum’s & hopefully inspire them in the kitchen! Ps. We had the buckwheat pikelets for dinner last night, so good!!
