15.01.2022 Good morning, This morning Im off to a workshop in town. I havent done this commute for a little while. As I was walking through the everyone in their way to work, I was getting all those rushing feeling again. I rushed to get ready, I rushed to get to work, then at work I rushed around from task to task, then at the end of the day I rushed back home. At home Id collapse from exhaustion. Looking back at it now I know I wasnt great at the work life balance thing. Ultima...tely it led to adrenal fatigue. I cant stress to all of you that works in the corporate sector how important it is to find some time in your day to just be. Take some time out from the busyness to sit quietly, look around and observe the space around you, connect to all your senses and connect to your breath. It can be as little as 2-5 minutes. Id love to hear about how this is working for you. For now, I wish you all a wonderful day.

01.01.2022 Oh what a joy it was to wake up this morning. I can really feel the change in season. Autumn is here at last, yeah! If your weeks been anything like mine with juggling your many hats - career, parent, partner, caring friend, youre probably ready for some me time. For me, I like to slot in a massage, a facial, some yoga, a walk in nature, but most importantly, meditation.... I can hear youre probably saying, "I cant meditate" or "I cant switch off all my thoughts". Yeh, I know, that was me too not so long ago. But Ive gone from being put off by trying to stop my thoughts to a more gentler approach like allowing my thoughts to come, to acknowledge them without getting caught up in them and letting them float by. Meditation is not about stopping your thoughts because we cant stop the thinking, thats just what our mind does. So instead we can find the time to be still to connect to ourselves, to our senses, to our breath and bring in a compassionate and loving attitude to our thoughts. Once we do that, our thoughts and our feelings can be present but not all consuming and we can be present and in the moment. Heres a short guided meditation for you to try on this beautiful day. So find a quiet spot at home or in nature and give yourself this gift of self care. Youll be supporting yourself as well as all those in your life. Enjoy!
