01.01.2022 Interesting post from 2009 from a farmer in Gawler, South Australia showing out 40ft KB Grader Board in action. "I know its (KB Grader Board) main use is for cutting and filling but I've seen a weedy field get ripped and disced then rain...then the grader board went in just as the weed were germinating...killed weed and decreased weed seed stocks as one end of the field never got done and there was quite a noticable difference. I have done many acres on 40ft machines, these ...are very simply and quick to setup. Transport to working mode and via's versa no more than 2-3minutes-one person. When working aslong as the board is always full it will cut and fill with ease...operating speed from 8-12km/h and a GPS guidance an advantage. Some people say these machines just make a field look pretty but field surveyors and laser bucket operators have told me a grader board can improve the paddock by 75%. The 25% I believe is were washout are quite large from a flood or channel break washing the soil away then a laser bucket must come in.
