21.01.2022 Thinking of converting our fold up bikes to e-bikes?

20.01.2022 Speaking of big comfy seats for long rides @CliveCashman. I just fitted this one to a black mountain bike. The velvet ride my friend.

11.01.2022 Wheel Hub Drive Vs Mid Drive Engines There are many differences between wheel hub drive motors and mid drive engines. Mid drive engines are much better for the following reasons: . The engine drives the bike through the peddles and gears. It is like comparing the benefits of a 5 speed car to only a 1 speed car. . Mid drives are in the centre of the bike and give proper bike balance compared to hub drive which puts a heavy motor asymmetrically loaded either in the front or ...back wheel. . Mid drives don’t over heat like hub drives on long hills. . More torque for the same size motor in the mid drive. Hub drives are often illegally bigger than the legal 250w engines. . No need to remove wheels to work on the motor. While mid drives are more expensive, considering they last for many years, the extra cost is the best investment to create a beautiful riding experience. 04.01.2022 I couldn’t resist. I put a motor on my folding bike. It works really well pushing me up the steepest hills. Now I just have to tidy up the cables at the front of the bike.

04.01.2022 I like this approach provided there is good bollard or kerb protection for cyclists. https://www.smh.com.au//new-cycleway-planned-down-the-cent

01.01.2022 Too good to be true? Self charging batteries from humidity in the air are being developed by the University of NSW and Australian Advance Materials. Incredible. https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com//2924-02299285-6A1003369
