25.01.2022 So today I’m pretty impressed with my apprentice Jack Johnson I asked him to make a new mud guard for this customers Ute, he has done a great job considering I don’t have folding machine to do the bends well done mate keep up the good work, left one is the original right one is Jack’s.

24.01.2022 It been a great little job fitting this new vetus engine into a local camp boat, also had new shaft made and fitted, prop re pitched to suit the difference in hp from old engine, fit with all new vetus pipe, muffler, fuel filter, water strainer, I am very happy with this fit up, thanks Jack Johnson you have now done on from start to finish, there will be many more to come.

21.01.2022 Just a couple of vetus install nearly finished top two photos are the shaft drive, new shaft, new cutless bearings and new pss seal to go with the new engine, the bottom is the sail drive version of the same engine fitted to a north shore 27.

19.01.2022 Another quality job done today by the boys at East Gippsland Cranes. We removed this Perkins a week ago to get a leaking fuel tank repaired and some mechanical issues and then back in.

18.01.2022 Nearly at the end of this job, it’s been a big one! Gutted engine room, new fuel tanks, new engines, all new exhaust and piping, freshen up gen set pipe work.

17.01.2022 We had a customer asking why there boat was filling with water, this exhaust pipe being split answered all our questions, removed and replaced with flexible vetus exhaust hose.

12.01.2022 This is a racor filter we remove from a boat we were doing a service on last week, remember to get your boat serviced and check out before the summer season to avoid costly fuel contamination issues.

07.01.2022 I’ve come across some interesting things in boats but never came across a water lock muffler made out of a fire extinguisher! Yes it was removed and replaced with a new vetus muffler.

07.01.2022 This is why it is important to get your servicing done regularly, this cooler took a lot of cleaning up, but is done ready to fit back to the engine.

06.01.2022 Yesterday’s job was to put these gearboxes back into the boat after we removed 2 weeks ago for a rebuild, we cleaned and etch primed bell housings, the owner painted himself, and we got Cashmans in to make new cooler hoses came up a treat.
