21.01.2022 Dont you love it when a plan comes together? This very stylish creation of ours for an equally stylish Brisbane wine bar is the result of great synergy, preparation and creative savvy. This client came to us with a clear direction and vision, which enabled us to very quickly finalise the design process, and present a logo solution that the client utterly loves. Theres a graphic design saying that goes something like this. There are three answers to a proposed design - yes, no and wow. Always aim for wow!

19.01.2022 Monterey Kangaroo Point logo and sales brochure. The Monterey logo captures an art deco theme, and represents both a capital M for Monterey and a stylised rendition of the Story Bridge. The art deco theme continues with the background pattern consisting of multiple copies of the logo itself. The brochure is a large format 240mm x 340mm with embellishments such as matt laminate and metallic gold foiling. Monterey is our second project for the Gardner Vaughan Group and is s...et to become an architectural landmark that embodies the perfect synergy between design, sustainability and natural beauty. This residential project is the first timber multi-storey construction in Kangaroo Point. The building design incorporates a Cross Laminate Timber (CLT) structure. This renewable resource sequesters carbon, enhances thermal properties, has very low embodied energy, resulting in a unique environmentally sustainable building. See more

18.01.2022 The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) and ATV Manufacturers commissioned GRAF-X to design and produce an ATV Safety Kit for distribution into rural communities across Australia. The concept was simplicity. With so much information to absorb the design required a clean, crisp and orderly approach. The message is serious and the content needed to be treated as such. This ATV Safety Kit offers guidance and information for all riders, outlines measures to enjoy an ATV safely and provides strategies on how to reduce risk in the workplace.

15.01.2022 Captivate. Stimulate. Motviate. We recently created this video for Gary Floyd Brands as the introduction to a major client presentation. The very fine work of Creative Director James and Art Director Marianne, the video and presentation was a fun project for us, and not something we have the opportunity to create every day. Most importantly, we were very proud to hear that the presentation was a great success, with our client securing a major contract as the end result.

15.01.2022 New York Inspired. When GRAF-X Design Suite heads out on tour, we always seek out the local galleries and art museums of the cities we visit. April 2019 offered a huge opportunity for us to fill our tanks with creative juice in New York.

13.01.2022 We are feeling very proud of this latest branding project created for Figure & Fitness Coach and Figure Champion, Tammie Sarcozy. The concept is based on the process and steps of the various programs offered by Tammie. From goal inspired resolve, through to the centred focus of competition, the glamour, and the final prize. The voice of the logo is that of an individual possessing a high level of inner confidence - determined, focused and vibrant, self-aware and ambitious. ...An achiever. There is an energetic feminine blend of zest, conviction, athleticism, confidence and glamour. Both subtlety powerful and charismatic.

12.01.2022 Just in from the Bottle Shop! This isnt our work, but we are suckers for any design that is quirky, amusing and retro. Fighting off a mutant Guinea Pig armed with nothing more than a Bar-B-Mate is pure heroism!

11.01.2022 We carefully consider design direction and the message a logo is communicating. Even if it is extremely subtle, it is very important to send a positive message. We contemplate how comfortable the target customer will be with the logo, and the positive impact the right logo can even have on staff within the business. The entire point of creating a logo and successful branding is that it becomes something customers remember. Ultimately when your customers see your logo, they will be able to instantly recall your business. Ensuring your logo design ignites customer recall will mean they come to you more readily for repeat business.

10.01.2022 Hello Copy Co. Dayarne Smith is an SEO copywriter based in the beautiful Hunter Valley. We set out to create a feeling that was warm, friendly, fun and easy-going - these being key aspects to Dayarnes personality and approach to her clients. The logo reads like a phrase. The open kerning between the letters imbues a friendly character as in the phrase is be spoken, or written, in a confident and welcoming tone. The teal colour palette works brilliantly to back this up, as ...does the use of a semi-bold san serif. The use of a script font in a relativity casually rendered balloon continues the theme. There is a reference to an exclamation mark in the word hello suggesting creativity with its playful and casual placement. All of this is signed off with a very proper full stop. 09.01.2022 The Little Treehouse Lane logo was a really fun project for us. Partly because its a demographic we don't get to play with very often, and partly because our client Nyomi was so engaged in the creative process. Here is what Nyomi had to say... "I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate the work you have done for me. You have taken the time to listen and read through my blurry lines to see a vision for my brand moving forward. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you in the future."

Coinciding with this momentous event, our very own mega-talented Marianne has completed this incredible colour pencil drawing of our favourite colour soon to be framed and on permanent display at GRAF-X. 400mm x 290mm and many, many hours of creative amazingness!

We are flexible in our approach to source the right solution, project by project, to achieve the best results. GRAF-X has created highly visual display material for numerous trade shows, exhibitions and retailers, from complete display areas to modular items such as retractable exhibition stands, posters and banners. We can also design and manage the production and supply all point of sale, marketing material, signage and vehicle graphics.

05.01.2022 No need for new. There are times when an all new logo isnt required, there is so much goodwill and equity wrapped around a logo it would be madness to stray far from the existing visual. In this specific case the changes are very subtle. Seemingly minor alterations to type, scale and spacing retain the essential character of the existing logo, while at the same time the logo becomes more cohesive and harmonious.

05.01.2022 Sometimes the image doesn't fit the concept. In this case, the warm red tones of the original image needed to be pulled back to project the 'below zero cool' of the concept. Through the use of Photoshop we have adjusted the background to become cold and blue. Fog and snow have been added, along with a font with a distinct frozen character. 04.01.2022 Fast forward happiness! Our boxed chocolate treats are now ready for people still working in our complex to pick up. GRAF-X is practicing the appropriate social distancing protocol working many metres away from the little chocolatey happy packs. We needed to beam a little sunshine through the grey. Positive thoughts breed positive thoughts. Give a smile to receive a smile.

01.01.2022 My Space Real Estate of Camp Hill recently commissioned GRAF-X to design their new Real Estate Investors Guide. Their existing guide was a utilitarian document which didnt sit comfortably with the My Space culture or character. Our solution was to elevate the design to a magazine style format, selecting key elements of their office, such as the colour palette and diamond panelled wall, to incorporate into the layout. We also refreshed the My Space logo to align with the new look. The end result contains all the important investor advice of the original in an appealing and stylish manner.
