Rowing is a low impact sport using a smooth rhythmic motion, great for core strength, providing a full body workout. GIVE IT A TRY Learn to Row programs are designed to teach those who have never rowed before the basic skills involved in rowing. You will learn rowing techniques, boat handling skills, river rules and discover the joys of rowing as a crew on the mighty Clarence Riv...er. WHAT TO BRING Exercise clothing, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, thongs (for putting the boats in the water), socks (to wear in the boat) WHERE Meet at the Grafton Rowing Shed on the banks of the clarence River at the end of Prince Street, near the Crown Hotel.
