25.01.2022 hello everyone! i hope you are all well, a few things to get everyone up to date, Wednesday the 9th will be our last competition day before a break for Christmas Also if anyone is interested intrying our for our regions state qualifiers we need details asap! if you have a child wanting to compete can you please comment their name below with the events (max 4) they would like to submit. We can then check our details to see if they make the qualifying time. these will need to... be submitting my the 31st on December but with Christmas etc we are trying to get it all sorted now. If they are successful in making it through, we will know by the 15th January and the carnival is scheduled for the 30/31 January in tamworth. These are very different and trying times and we are trying our best to make things work. In regards to COVID restriction...s we will be monitoring registrations and if your traveling to a COVID hotspot within 14 days of the carnival please do not register. 23.01.2022 It is the last night for Senior Athletics and it looks like the rain is going to stay away. One last run before we break for Christmas. We will run some relays tonight in both track and field events if you would like to come along and have some fun.

20.01.2022 With such a great turn out last season, we are definitely looking forward to seeing all our athletes old and new join us for the 20/21 season Registrations have now been updated and are op for business as the 20/21 season is just around the bend! Some new information regarding the upcoming season:... The club has made up their Covid Safety Plan that everyone will need to follow whilst at the track. The commencement of the season will be on Wednesday the 21st of October at 5pm for tiny tots and ages up to under 11s, and Friday the 23rd of October at 5pm for under 12s up to our senior athletes. We will hold a trial day before the season starts, details for the time and date will be available soon. Our club singlets and crop tops are available at Sportspower Grafton if you wish to purchase some. We have been advised by Little Athletics NSW that there will be no zone or regional championships due to the health restrictions following Covid 19. At this moment in time there is still currently a state championship, with more information to come. Further information will be posted over the next few weeks regarding any requirements and Covid 19 in the lead up to the start of the season. Can’t wait to see you all at the track!!!

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, just letting the parents of our tiny tots to our under 11s know that the committee has worked out some work arounds and Wednesday will be 4:30-5:30 with a process to move swimmers through events quickly; and if younger ages are attending with older family members on Friday they will be catered for but of course that can only work for limited numbers.

15.01.2022 Hi Everyone. We are obviously expecting some rain this afternoon. Someone will be at the Athletics fields from 4pm. If it is not raining we will run a modified version of the program e.g. field events and some realys just for fun. We can also help with registrations etc if needed. If it is to wet or stormy to go ahead we will let you know asap.

14.01.2022 Morgan Pilley is comming to join us this Friday afternoon at Senior Athletics. Morgan is a professional Mountain Bike rider come Ultra Marathon runner. Morgan grew up in Yamba but now lives in Italy and has managed to safely come home during a Global pandemic to support the Clarence Valley Youth. We will run a 3km tomorrow night. Which is not far enough for Morgan but definitely far enough for us!! We will also be running a mixed age 4 x 100m relay for some fun and some some ...field events. If you are wanting to go this way you will need to also have a uniform and we have numbers to attach that will be available from our committee, if anyone needs further information don't hesitate to ask

We had a great turn out for both our Wednesday (tots - U11s) and Friday (U12s - Masters) afternoons. We hope everybody enjoyed themselves and we are really looking forward to the season ahead.... 06.01.2022 Notice of AGM - The Grafton Athletics Club will hold its AGM outside the athletics shed at 2pm on Saturday 20 June . All positions will be declared vacant. If you can lend a hand or would like to take on a position please come along. If you wish to help/nominate for a position but can't attend please send us a message. Please consider taking on a committee position, we have a good group of people to share the load so being a committee member won't be honerous. The more people involved the easier it is and we would love to have new people on board! See you there!
