13.01.2022 Revenge of the Road Cone. OK, so for something different, we are holding a Motorkhana on April 18th. So instead of climbing the hill and negotiating the circuit... without hitting a witches hat, you will have to climb the hill and negotiate the circuit without hitting a witches hat, see the difference. Entry forms from March 27th on the website www.gscc.org.au See more

07.01.2022 This letter to Community Sport Organisations was received from Motor Sport Australia this morning. The letter states that these restrictions will remain in pla...ce for the next six weeks. Please read and take note of the additional Public Health Recommendations. Our event this Sunday will go ahead with due attention being paid to the Covid-19 Plan already in place. This places a serious burden on the Club to continue to ensure every bodies safety, your co-operation is expected. This will also have a serious effect on our proposed 2 day round in September. Further advice will follow. See more

06.01.2022 Stating the obvious the 2020 Australian Hillclimb Championship scheduled to run on 5-8 November by the MG Car Club of Queensland at the Mount Cotton hillclimb will not be able to be held due to closure of borders between Australian States.

04.01.2022 Just a reminder that entries for Round 1 will close on Friday 19th March. We are limited to 70 entries and are well on the way to that number, if you don't want... to risk missing out, now is the time to put your entry in. We also need around 15 persons to act as Officials on the day, benefits include getting close to the action and a free lunch. If you are able to help out please comment below or tell us at [email protected] We are also pleased to advise that you are no longer required to complete the Self Scrutiny form. All cars entered into the event will undergo scrutiny from 07:30 AM in the scrutiny bay in the usual manner. We will be checking for all safety issues including loose batteries (please note that Gravity does not qualify as a Battery securing device). We will also need to see your helmet and check that your apparel complies with the Supp. Regs. If you are running in a Road Registered Class then your vehicle must be able to pass a Rego check, i.e., all its bits must be there and its Tyres must be legal for road use. It is the entrants responsibility to ensure that the car is entered into the correct class. It is just possible that Mr Bean would not be able to run!!
