24.01.2022 The clinic is open for face-to-face appointments, and we are making sure to provide and maintain an environment that is without risk to the health and safety of our clients and psychologists. We have placed our chairs in the waiting area 1.5 m apart, we have been wiping down all surfaces and cleaning the workplace regularly, there is hand sanitiser for all our clients to use upon entering the clinic, and ofcourse we have our admin spraying the Glen 20 around the clinic throughout the day! Looking forward to seeing all our lovely clients back at the clinic, and ofcourse new clients are welcome to book in as well

15.01.2022 Nadia has been keeping busy during lockdown by taking her dog, Bella out for long walks, which has been quite the welcome arvo routine for her. Reconnecting with the outdoors has been lovely, and Bella clearly loves it as well #stayingpositive #gratitude #happiness #positivemindset #psychology #mentalhealthtips #positivitytips #coronamentalhealth #coronavirusmentalhealth #positivity #mentalhealth #psychologytips #grahampsychology #happythoughts

15.01.2022 Keeping a positive attitude tip 2 Being positive is within you, dont rely on an outside source or person to create that positivity for you. Your language has a lot of power on your mindset and choosing negative language can cause you to view everything in a negative light. Try and use positive language whenever you can, even if its in a hard situation and youre finding it difficult to stay positive, repeating positive words over and over again will greatly impact your mindset.

14.01.2022 Have you been asked to work from home during the pandemic, only to find that the distractions in your home environment is making it harder for you to get work done and easier to procrastinate? Here are some tips to help you stay on track and be more efficient at home. Create a home office - Turn a spare room or a small corner of your house into a small office. Make sure there is appropriate lighting and minimal distractions nearby. Every time that you go to your office..., take with yourself everything that you will need, like your bottle of water, your laptop charger, a snack. Having to go searching for these later on would cause you to get distracted. Set up a clear work schedule - Make a plan for your work everyday with clear and realistic goals of the things that you need to get done that you should be expected to achieve in the given time frame. Plan in time for meals and short breaks as well, but make sure your short breaks dont turn into procrastination. So limit your break times. Prioritise your tasks - Make sure you write down which tasks are more important and need to be done first. Youll get things done more effectively if they are prioritised. Dont forget, you are in charge of yourself here! Working from home is a big change and adjusting to it will be hard, but its important for you to stay on track! See more

14.01.2022 Working from home and finding the good in lockdown by getting lots of cuddles from these two cuties between sessions Its definitely a hard time right now for us as we are back into lockdown, and its normal to be feeling overwhelmed by negative thoughts and feelings of helplessness. However, trying to focus on the good things and having a positive mindset can be really helpful. Its very important to practice gratitude every day to help you maintain a positive perspective! So your task for the next 6 weeks is to write down at least one thing your are thankful for every single day. Stay safe everyone and hope you all have a great weekend

01.01.2022 Uncertainty is all around us, never more so than today. The Coronavirus pandemic has heightened the feelings of uncertainty. As human beings, we like to be in control of our lives and feel that we are secure and safe. The uncertainty that is around us today can make us feel anxious and powerless over what is going to happen. What we should be aware of however is that uncertainty is a natural and unavoidable part of our everyday lives. Worrying about what is going to happen is... not going to make you feel like you are in control. There are healthier ways to cope with the uncertainty by adjusting your mindset, actively dealing with your emotions and learning to accept uncertainty. Focus on the present moment instead of worrying about the future. Be fully connected to the now and accept the uncertainty that you are feeling without letting it cause you stress See more
