Formally opening in front of 200-250 art lovers by Emma Cole, City of Vincent Mayor; with keynote speaker Lee Kinsella, Special Projects Curator at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, UWA; Music by well-known Perth Chamber Group, Dolce Ensembles; and featuring works by current studio artists, ...Graham Hay, Carol Rowling, Frances Dennis, Sarah Jane Marchant, Christopher McClelland, Bethamy Linton. On Sunday 24 November there was Artist Talks and a Performance by WAAPA students choreographer Isabel Wartmann, along with dancers Karlia Cook and Isobelle Collie. Every week day for the last decade they come past the studio helping country people find accommodation, food and information. 16.01.2022 Huge effort by everyone: the Decompression Exhibition is 95% up! Photos yesterday before we started laying out the artworks. Catalogue and price-list printed, works numbered. Media release circulated and radio interview organised. Speakers, live music, and refreshment organised for tomorrow night. Sundays dance performance and artists talks also almost completely finalised. What have we missed?

They created a contemporary dance based upon my ideas and works, with the final performance during the Studio exhibition at Holmes Court [email protected], late last year. 10.01.2022 After artist talks and workshops in Sydney and the US, Im finally off the planes. While this weeks sees my last studio class this year-a big thank you to all students for great work and great conversations! As many students have already bought up lessons for part or all of 2019, there will initially be only be a few gaps in some classes for new students. If interested, try to enrol and then use the eye icon tab to pop yourself on a waiting list for an automatic email when... gaps do appear. Ive created a few 1 day weekend workshops for the overflow, and of course you can always buy 1 or 2 class Christmas gift vouchers for loved ones. The studio had an Open Studio this as part of the OPEN HOUSE PERTH on 10 + 11 November, hosted the City of Vincent Arts Advisory Committee Christmas function this week and were now just now finishing off writing our annual studio 1 page e-newsletter (its always short and sweet, and so just has to be just perfect!-sign up www.robparkart.info for it when it comes out in the next few days) You have until Thursday, December 20 2018 is see my and most of the leading Perth ceramic artists works in Materiality at the Mundaring Arts Centre. My larger work has just been selected to tour 6 US Museums starting mid 2019. Im now head down at the keyboard catching up on writing my PhD for the next few weeks... Ive been concerned about Britts health since before Christmas, and just recently visited the work and studio. Its truly a great work, and she is worthy of your support.
