17.01.2022 I want to share with you all the special moment my little guy Harvey (2yo) saw the world clearly for the first time. Harvey has always been an anxious boy an...d you’ll always find him right by my side. He usually wants to be carried or at least holding hands when moving about, and unfamiliar places and faces are quite daunting for him. I hadn’t previously thought about getting Harvey’s eyes tested as a result of his behaviour, and when I did I assumed he would be too young to be tested. I’m so glad I did end up taking him, as it was immediately obvious to the optometrist that Harvey had a significant prescription and has always had blurred vision. Fast forward to a few weeks back when Harvey received his glasses in the video. It has taken Harvey some time to adjust to the lenses as he is seeing everything in a different way and his depth perception has been totally altered. Harvey is kicking goals and loves wearing his new glasses. He is now happy to explore around and is becoming more independent each day. If you haven’t ever taken your kids to have a routine eye-check, even if you think they’re too young or their vision is fine, it’s totally worthwhile doing so. Thanks so much to the team at Graham Hill Eyecare for their help with Harvey. Highly recommend!

This understanding was enhanced by developing a relationship with Jessica who also has low vision but has become Australia’s only ...medalist in both Summer AND winter Paralympics. An incredibly inspiring and quality film which gives insight into the need for all of us to see beyond people’s limitations. Highly recommended.
