There are exciting things happening to the building including a Holden Certified Service Centre!! This means that for the foreseeable future you can still bring your Holden to 35 Nolan Street and have a Service, Capped Price Service, Warranty procedure or even get Genuine Holden Parts!! ... Further to this, most of the highly trained and professional GJH Staff (who know your car) will still be around to help you out and make this transition into the future at 35 Nolan Street that bit easier. Its an exciting future on the corner of Burke and Nolan in Maryborough!!

14.01.2022 At the risk of getting too sentimental, I'd like to raise a glass to the team over the years that have navigated us to this point, the 'A Team', after Dad's passing - James, age 22 taking on the job of grey haired old man well against the odds to give Graham Jacka Holden the second chance it deserved. In the process we recruited the Rookie salesman Paul Rossi. Paul quickly became more than just another employee, he became another brother. Even being referred to as Paul Jacka ...by the odd il-iinformed customer. Paul has been an integral part of the team for the last 17 years well and truly going above and beyond time and time again. Enter Dave Jacka, initially as parts then as his own computer business then cementing him as an important pillar of the business in IT, office management and anything else that came his way - with ease. If we were the 'A-Team' then this guy was the Maestro. A dairy farmer from Busselton Western Australia who started selling Holden's at his mates (the Fennesy boys) dealership after surviving an horrific accident involving a bulldozer falling onto his ute crushing him to the point he probably shouldn't have walked again. Fast forward to 1979 the Great Graham Jacka leaves his successful posting as Dealer Principal Preston Motors to purchase 'his own' Dealership in Maryborough Victoria. Supported by his wife Trinsa he formed a beautiful relationship with the town and region he would eventually call home. So A HUGE THANK YOU to this amazing man, the legend who's name beamed proudly for almost 41 years, we still miss you like mad. The name may be gone from the building, but the legend lives on.

12.01.2022 So... after 41 years of Graham Jacka Holden and 84 years of having a General Motors dealership at 35 Nolan Street that day is looming heavily upon us. Next Tuesday the 18th of August marks the day our signage will be removed from our Holden Home in Nolan Street. The signs may be coming down but our proud heritage in Maryborough continues to live on in our memories, and the memories of all of our customers and associates from over the years. From all of those first cars, ...family cars, work utes and other notable vehicles our heritage lives on. Thanks to everyone who was part of the journey. If youd like a photo of yourselves or your vehicle in front of the dealership please take the time to do it over the weekend, oh - and please mind the windows...
