After a strong first half, the seagulls started to make a come back, but we managed to hold ...on and defend well to claim a 7 point win! Ashley Fenech, Mitchell Cuthbert and Blake Harkness were name among our best on ground! While Timothy Mcgenniss was our leading goal kicker!

07.01.2022 Pleased to announce we have former Fremantle Dockers Coach CHRIS CONNOLLY on board with Syked For Sport and Mindfulness Matters! They say football is played 90...% between the ears, but junior athletes barely put ANY of their time and energy into mastering their mindset when it comes to becoming their best. Taela Jade works with our aspiring athletes on how to overcome anxiety, develop strategies to make our minds a weapon and not a hindrance and plenty more!! Chris Connolly works with our athletes around their kicking. The skill of kicking needs to be above average in order to get drafted. He uses his app that videos the kick and sends feedback on how to improve the kick with various games and fundamental repetition! I am working with our athletes in a mentor ship capacity as well as developing the fundamentals of football! More details later on in the week. All future AFL/AFLW players need to check out what we have in store!!

Hurley, Ed Curnow, Christian Salem and Ben Reid all in attendance! Plenty of fun activities and delicious food being sold - and best of all, see the coaches ride the ICE slide! All funds raised from the event will go towards Peninsula Health GameFace will be there so you can catch all the action LIVE on our Facebook Page!

06.01.2022 Vale Ian Ross From all at Graham Quarries, our hearts are heavy as we learn of the passing of our colleague and friend Ian. Over his 7 years with us, Ian always took the opportunities on offer and gave them a red hot go. He was also happy to provide the rest of us with opportunities too; Ian often shared where to find the best bargains for fruit/vegies and meat, where the best surf was, where the fish were biting, his love of gardening, Carlton FC (nevermind, no-ones perfect) and the occasional treat from Rebel Donuts. He also shared his enduring love for his family and friends in the recount of nights out, nights in (watching the footy) and school/career successes along the way. Our thoughts are with Rosemary, family and friends as they re-call and share their own memories of Ian and celebrate a life well lived.

The ...current committee of LFNC put in place a sub committee lead by our club historians Marty Roberts & Chris Bosse to research our history, update our club honour boards and assist with the selection of our Teams of the Decades from 1920 football & netball & our Team of the Century Football. For all players selected in the teams, we wanted a lasting memento for the occasion and asked C & D Trophies to assist with ideas. The result is pictured below, Medals for TOTD football & netball & TOTC football. A huge thankyou to Deb and the C & D Trophies team for an amazing customer experience.
