17.01.2022 One of the best parts of the Grammar Art Show is sharing in the journey of pieces from conception to their forever homes. This little guy is particularly special. It was painted by a Belgian artist while in Bali, then was sent back to Belgium with him when covid19 hit. It was then sent to its new home in Brisbane via Toowoomba. Quite the trip (I’m actually a little jealous). @olamboray thank you for supporting us despite the craziness. You are fab! #fromtoowoombatotheworld

15.01.2022 Thank you everyone for your support of the 2020 Toowoomba Grammar School ART SHOW .. we are SO excited to let you know that we actually sold $182,000 of art .. our second highest Art Sales ever!! Who would have ever thought that possible in these unusual COVID times .. we decided to quickly set-up an on-line shop when COVID stopped our normal Grammar Art Show only days before opening .. we were worried about our artists and tried our best to support them Our results have sho...cked us .. we sold to all States & Territories of Australia .. Urban, Regional, Rural & Remote .. Internationally to USA, Europe, Asia & Middle East .. Sold 12 of the 15 artworks by our Feature Artist Jenie Fawckner Art .. sold 263 artworks in total from our 250 amazing artists from all around Australia .. again a super special thank you to Yr 12 TGS student Thomas Shields for creating our webpage & shop .. without that, we would not have sold any art!!
