25.01.2022 Our annual GHH Beach Blitz saw our biggest turnout yet with over 100 students, staff and parents donning gloves and picking up 96kg of rubbish off the beach and surrounds at North Shore Beach /Twin Waters. A fantastic effort by all involved. Our thanks to everyone who helped out and to Sandie from EnviroCom for all her assistance and support in making our morning a great success.

Thanks to our great ambassadors for organising these donations and once again supporting our local health services in their tremendous work.

15.01.2022 From socks to washers, toiletries, snacks, cards, mugs, stationery, reading material and more - the students at Sunshine Coast Grammar School have gone above an...d beyond to help us provide Care Packs to patients in need. These packs are being picked up each and every day from our health staff who have identified patients and families needing an extra hand. Those facing homelessness, struggling to make ends meet or isolated members of society. These Care Packs are making a very real difference. All we can say is THANK YOU so much!

We are working hard to open our very first Wishlist Gift Shop at Nambour Hospital and we are searching for volunteers to staff... our little shop from Monday to Friday 10am until 2pm. No experience is necessary - just a friendly face who can provide great customer service and wants to have some fun! If you can dedicate one day a week, or even one day every two weeks, we'd love to hear from you! You can even volunteer with a friend if you like... 05.01.2022 GHH just wanted to pass on some info to you all at this time to let you know what’s happening with some of our community partners and perhaps encourage you at this time to look for ways that you and your family may be able to offer support. We know it’s a tough economic climate but the reality is that for many vulnerable people in our community, it has become a day to day proposition to access support and basic necessities. Here are a few ideas that you and your family migh...t like to consider over the coming weeks: 1. Supporting The Shack Community Centre They are facing a huge struggle financially and their pantry is around 3 weeks from being depleted. A few spare packets or cans of food delivered to them would be great. 2. Supporting Bloomhill Cancer Care. A real rock for so many here on the coast living with cancer, Bloomhill are REALLY struggling to support their clients. A link to their recent campaign is on their page Bloomhill Cancer Care Further to this, if you would like to assist in some hands on way or feel that you could potentially reach out to a client (perhaps even virtually) then let me know and I will pass on details. 3. Supporting Team Adem Roll up your sleeves and support the Aust Red Cross with a donation. Red Cross donation centres have implemented strict social distancing rules and are open for business. Have your donation added to the Team Adem account. Save the lives of 3 others today. 4. Supporting Wishlist Doing so much to support those here on the Sunshine Coast, these guys are doing an outstanding job. Pass on your thanks (our kids here at Grammar got into this last week with some cards and videos) to the medical and support staff across our region. Jump on the Wishlist Facebook page and send a message of gratitude. It’s simple but will go a long way to making someone’s day. #grammarpride
05.01.2022 We'd love you to meet Joan! Joan is a recent patient of the respiratory team and was gifted a Wishlist Care Pack made up by the wonderful Sunshine Coast Gramma...r School students. Her nurse Keryn said: "Joan was thrilled to receive her bag full of goodies. She was most impressed with the voucher from Just Better Care as she can now use it to go shopping as she has no other means of transport at the moment." 04.01.2022 Our GHH Student Services Team have had a great start to the year. The team has already raised over $1000 to support Koala rehabilitation programs in the wake of the devastating bushfires. Great work team! We look forward to sharing our many campaigns and causes throughout 2020.
03.01.2022 Earlier this week we were fortunate to welcome Arlo from Wildlife HQ to the School to help raise awareness amongst our Primary School students about the diminis...hing habitat for many of our favourite Australian animals (Arlo is also famously known as the RACQ Koala). Our Year 4 students will be leading the way to help raise funds later in the year to help plant more trees for our native friends. See more

Wishlist (our local hospital foundation) needs your help to raise much-needed funds for vital medical equipment, services to support... patients and their families, and for exciting new research projects. You never know when you might need the help of your local hospital, so show your support and donate to help those undergoing cancer treatment, support our youngest patients like Mackenzie pictured below, or provide comfort for palliative care patients. All donations made on Wishlist Giving Day TOMORROW Thursday, August 20, will be matched thanks to some very generous business 'matchers' in our community. Please join us in this 12 HOUR ONLY appeal!
